You look so tired. What`s wrong with you? I haven’t slept all the night.
5
What’s up? I’ve invented the Machine of Time.
6
It’s impossible. You can’t believe me but it’s true.

8
Fantastic! I came in Reconstruction a month ago and it would be interesting to know more about your settlement. Let`s go on an excursion round the village in the PAST. Ok. Push this button.
9
Where are we? I think it`s our village many years ago. What do you know about the history of Reconstruction?
10
The first settlement was founded nearly 150 years ago by the Cossack Nikita Ermilov (he is оn the left in a low row). It was called Nikitinskiy.
11
12
The houses of Cossacks were called huts. A hut was built from natural materials such as clay, chaff, brushwood and cane. This mixture was called «саман» in Russian.
13
The hut was divided into two rooms: the great hut and the small hut. Here you can see the great hut. The «red corner» was the central place in the room. Every family has one or several icons in the corner. The «red corner» was decorated with handmade towels. As a rule these towels, with lace and embroidery, were the traditional elements of decorating the Cossack houses.
14
These are things which were used by Cossacks many years: a pitchfork, a saw, a rake, a yoke, harness, a scythe, a lot of pottery and of course a spinning wheel, with the help of it they spun yarn.
15
After the Great October Revolution Nikitinskiy was renamed many times. It changed territories, the name of the district, the heads of the settlement and only in 1953 it got the name Reconstruction. The detailed history of the state farm you can read on the information board in our School Museum.
16
In the center of the settlement there is the Alley of Heroes which leads to a monument with the names of Reconstruction Heroes of the Soviet Union (participants of the Great Patriotic War). It`s a favourite place for local people especially on Victory Day where we lay flowers to the monument and give bouquets to War veterans.
17
Many pupils and guests of our school often visit the School Museum. It was founded in 2005 by our teacher Konovalova T. I. A lot of people helped her to fulfill the exhibits of the museum. Here you can study the history of our settlement. It is interesting to notice that there are portraits and personal things of participants of the Great Patriotic War, many old things of local people.
18
Our inhabitants take an active part in the work of the local House of Culture. Children, teenagers, teachers and even elderly people help to make New Year`s performances, Mother`s Day, the Day of the Settlement and so on. The collective of the House of Culture often gets prizes in many singing and dancing contests.
19
We are proud of the settlement and want it to become better and more beautiful. Our travelling is over. It`s time to return back to school. Thank you. It was worth seeing. There is no future without the past.
