Here it all started. September, 1, 1929. In the settlement of Vasilyevo was opened a seven - year school. There were 4 grades, it was attended by 32 pupils. In the fall of 1933 a new building began working as a school. It was called Vasilyevskaya high school named after A. M. Gorky. The first issue of the 10th grade students took place in 1937. Graduates were 19pupils. During the great Patriotic war all our people: teachers and graduates of our school defended their homeland. The school Director Loktionov A. A. died at the front. From 1943 to 1946 the school was replaced into a military hospital. Students helped to nurse the wounded. They took part in the works: sewed warm clothes, knitted mittens, socks.

In 1985, in s. Vasilyevo of Zelenodolsky region of the Republic of Tatarstan was built a new school building. The territory of the school covers the area of 3 hectares. Education and training at each step is based on the annual calendar study plan, class schedules within the acceptable load of classroom training and the mandatory minimum content of basic educational programs. At school there are 37 class kits. The number of pupils from 1 on 11 classes on the 1st of January, 2011 is 940people. In the new building, there are 45 classrooms. There is a metalwork and carpentry workshops, office maintenance staff, 2 computer rooms with 30 seats, history, chemistry, 2 physics studies, mathematics, Tatar language, Russian language, history, biology etc. There is a dining room with 300 seats. Dining room is equipped with the necessary technological equipment in accordance with sanitary-hygienic norms and requirements. All students at school are provided with hot meals.

The school created optimal conditions for mastering and introduction in educational process of information technologies. Work is underway to create a single information space. During its existence the school has gained considerable authority among the population of the village, there are several dynasties of teachers. The school is provided with qualified teaching staff 98%, thereby improving the professional competence of teachers has improved the quality of educational work. More than 70 teachers work at school. Health and social conditions at school are consistent with the objectives and content of the educational process, the norms of Sanitary rules and regulations, the requirements of occupational health and safety (fire alarm button anxiety).
