The British Flag is called The Union Flag or The Union Jack. It combines the emblems of three countries – England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This is Tower Bridge, built in 1894. It is one of the famous bridges across the Thames.

Red Telephone Boxes and Buses are typical for London.

A lot of tourists go to Buckingham Palace. It is the place where British Kings and Queens live when they are in London.

The Tower of London is very old. You can see it from the river Thames.

Westminster Abbey is a symbol of England. The coronation of all British Kings an Queens takes plays here. Some famous English people are also buried in Westminster Abbey.

The famous clock Big Ben stands near the Houses of Parliament. The countries leaders speak in the Houses of Parliament. London Eye is the most impressive attraction for everybody.

Trafalgar Square is situated in the centre of London. It’s a lovely place for Londoners and tourists. There are fountains on the Square.

Nelson’s Column, with the statue of Admiral Lord Nelson on top, rises in the centre of Trafalgar Square.

Madame Tussaud’s is the famous waxwork museum, which has one of the largest collections of wax models in the world.
