Extremely Dangerous Unusual Sports in the World

Sports are most often played just for fun or for the simple fact that people need exercise to stay in good physical condition. Danger in sport is very common especially in outside games. There are people who have faced serious damages and even sometimes death Many sportsmen love danger and excitement, they need adrenalin. There are so many dangerous sports to play. People trying them must be highly courageous and challenging.

BASE Jumping

BASE jumping is an activity where participants jump from fixed objects , such as buildings, antennas, bridges or cliffs and use a parachute to break their fall. Consequences are often tragic if not lethal. Sportsmen may die by reaching the ground before planned, the wind could easily slam them into the object they’ve just left behind. Not only is this activity lethal–between 5 and 15 people die each year, it’s also illegal in many parts of the world, including the U.S.

Altitude Climbing

Real mountaineers face every threat you can imagine, including drowning. Even a regular injury can be fatal, as rescue helicopters simply can’t get to you due to different circumstances.

Motorcycle Racing

Motorcycling is the most dangerous motorsport in the world. This is not the normal motorcycle we ride ever day. Superbikes are used for this sport as their engines are built for speedy driving and acceleration. It is highly risky as the prime focus of the riders is to win the race.

Bull Running

is a practice that involves running in front of a small group of bulls that have been let loose. The most famous running of the bulls is that of the seven-day festival of Sanfermines in honour of San Fermín in Pamplona, although they are held in towns and villages across Spain, Portugal, and in some cities in Mexico, Nevada, and southern France, during the summer. Unlike bullfights, which are performed by professionals, anyone older than 18 may participate in it. The purpose of this event was in origin to transport the bulls from the off-site corrals where they had spent the night, to the bullring where they would be killed in the evening. Every year, between 200 and 300 people are injured during the run although most injuries are contusions due to falls and are not serious. Bull Running

Shin kicking

You should try shin kicking. The whole point of this sport is to kick your opponents in the shin so hard that they fall down. To win this sport, you need to be both agile and able to endure pain. Shin kicking originated in England and has been sometimes referred to an English martial art. A World Shin Kicking Championship is also held each year as part of the Cotswold Olympic Games and draws thousands of spectators. There is a legend that some shin kickers used to wear steel-toe boots during the competition, but you don’t need to worry about that now. In modern competitions, participants are required to wear soft shoes.

Cave diving

Cave diving is a type of technical diving in which special equipment is used to enable the exploration of caves which are at least partially filled with water. In the United Kingdom it is an extension of the more common sport of caving, and in the United States an extension of the more common sport of scuba diving. Despite some risks, water-filled caves attract SCUBA divers, cavers, speleologists due to their often unexplored nature, and present divers with a technical diving challenge.

Underwater Upsidedown Hockey

It is played in Finland, Austria, Germany and some other European countries. The Finns are said to be the world leaders in creating crazy sports. This is neither ice hockey nor underwater hockey, which is just played inside a swimming pool. This is more than that. Players in wet suits enter ponds and lakes that are frozen on the surface. Inside the freezing cold pond, they turn upside down and use the frozen surface as the playing area to pass the puck! And what’s more, they do not use any breathing instruments! They just play and get out to get some air when they can’t hold their breath any longer.

Football Royal Shrovetide

It is the craziest football match in the world! It is played in Ashbourne, England There is only one rule – No murder. This game has been played since the 12-th century. Twice a year, at 2 pm, a football is thrown into a mob consisting of two teams – The Up’Ards and Down’Ards. There is a goal post which is nothing but a big wall on either side of Ashbourne, separated by a three mile distance. There is no official playing area, as the entire town is included within the three mile radius. There is no limit on the number of participants and even tourists can participate. The game is usually played from 2 pm till 10 pm. The ball is a specially designed ball which does not break and floats in water. The game ends when a player bangs the ball three times on the wall.
