. Agatha Miller was born on September 15, 1890 in Torquay, Devon, in the South West England to the family of well to do American migrants Frederick Alvah Miller and Clara Boehmer. She was the third child in the family.

The books of Christie were adapted 27 times into films. Agatha Christie wrote not only detective stories but also romances, she published them under the name Mary Westmacott.

Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle was born on May 22, 1859, in Edinburgh, Scotland Conan Doyle is most famous as the inventor of Sherlock Holmes, but he had a varied career as a writer, journalist and public figure. Arthur Conan Doyle was a famous British writer best known by the series of books about Sherlock Holmes. At the same time he led a medical career and supported spiritualism.
