Everyone knows the expression Water is life. But can we say this in our days? Now water pollution is a cause of premature death. You must recognize that it is dangerous to drink water from wells, as in the days of our grandmothers, and from the tap too.

Chemical substances coming from fertilizers can contaminate ground water by various phonemically, pesticides. Mineral and organic fertilizers together with groundwater enters lakes and rivers.

In the world there are hundreds and thousands of different plants and nuclear stations, which operate with nuclear fuel and the water that is used in the work, may be radioactive. So often it is poured into the seas and oceans. It is dangerous for the environment.

Plants also get water poisoned, their use in food causes illness of the stomach, liver and kidneys. The pollution of the seas lead to the degradation of marine flora and fauna. Toxins are the cause of extinction of hundreds of marine organisms.

Litter in the sea and on beaches is dangerous. Thus, plastic debris annually kills two million sea birds and 100,000 mammals, a huge amount of fish and turtles. Most of the litter dumped into the sea from ships, but part is washed away from the beaches and carried by rivers.

So ... next time you go to the beach, make sure you are part of the solution, NOT the problem! Take ALL of your litter home with you and consider taking any other litter you can see around you too. If you live near a beach, you could even organise a Beach Clean-up Day.
