The main reason for choosing this theme The main reason for choosing this theme is the absence of material about the life of Elizabeth II in school textbooks. I really love the English language and I want to know as much as possible about this country. I will try to answer basic questions about certain aspects of the life of the Queen of England Elizabeth II, which, on the one hand, shaped her character and, on the other hand, her personality.

The Queen is the head of state. Elizabeth II (born 21.04.1926) - Queen of United Kingdom. Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary) is Queen of sixteen sovereign states, and their respective overseas territories and dependencies. She holds each crown and title equally, however, she is most directly involved with the United Kingdom, her oldest realm and the place of residence of the Royal Family.

The Queens Early Life Elizabeth was thirteen years old when World War II broke out, and she and her younger sister, Princess Margaret, were evacuated to Windsor Castle, Berkshire. There was some suggestion that the two princesses be evacuated to Canada, to which their mother made the famous reply: The children wont go without me. I wont leave the King. And the King will never leave.“ When she was 13 years old, she first met her future husband Prince Philip. She fell in love with him and began writing to him when he was in the Royal Navy.

Military career In 1945, Princess Elizabeth convinced her father that she should be allowed to contribute directly to the war effort. She joined the Womens Auxiliary Territorial Service, where she was known as No 230873 Second Subaltern Elizabeth Windsor, and was trained as a driver. This training was the first time she had been taught together with other students

Marriage and family Elizabeth married Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark) on 20 November 1947. The marriage was controversial.

Interests An animal lover since childhood, The Queen takes a keen and highly knowledgeable interest in horses. She attends the Derby at Epsom, one of the classic flat races in Britain, and the Summer Race Meeting at Ascot, which has been a Royal occasion since 1911.A lesser known interest is Scottish country dancing

The Queen and Fashion Norman Hartnell, who first worked for the then Princess Elizabeth in the 1940s, produced many of the finest evening dresses in Her Majesty’s wardrobe.
