There are a lot of people around whose ideas can change the world. This story is about two women who lived in different countries but they did the world better. They served their countries best and supported people in trouble.

The princess of Wales She was the people`s princess. Her life was like a fairy tale. In her childhood she wanted to be a ballet dancer. But at the age of 20 she married Charles, the prince of Wales, and her life changed very much.

Diana Spencer was born on the 1st of July, 1961. Her father, Lord Altorp, served at an English royal court yard in days of the king George VI. Her mother, Lady Altorp, was the daughter of the fourth baron Fermou. When Diana was five, her parents had divorced and the girl grew without parents love and caress in a boarding-house.

On the 29th of July, 1981 lady Diana Spencer married the Prince of Wales Charles.

For last three hundred years she was the first Englishwomen left in marriage for the successor of a throne. Appeared that Diana had those advantages which are necessary for the wife of the royal successor. In day of wedding Diana was authorized to rise on one step with the husband that contradicted traditions of conservative Englishmen.

Diana created a new image of a royal. She was pretty, kind and good-looking. In England you could see a lot of girls who were fans of the Princess of Wales. They copied her hairstyle and her clothes. Princess Diana was always starting new fashions. Diana was the modern woman. She loved pop music and romantic short stories.

The first son - William Arthur Filip Luis ( Prince William) - was born on the 21st of June, 1982. The second son was born on the 15th of September, 1984 and has received Henry Charles Albert Davids name (Prince Henry).

The Princess Diana was involved in many charities. She paid special attention to AIDS patients and a leprosy. She was the first who has paid attention all people of the world to problems of the disabled children. Diana raised money and gave a helping hand to needy people. She made the world better.

But Charles and Diana`s home life has not developed. Misunderstanding and mistrust have resulted in their divorce. It happened in 1996. After divorce she has devoted herself to sons and charity. In 1997 Princess Diana tragically was lost in accident in Paris. She was buried with queen`s honours. The British respected her because she was helpful and attractive. They named her a queen of human hearts

Raisa Maksimovna Gorbachova – a lady of Soviet Union

She was a wife of the first President of Soviet Union. She was very attractive, kind and clever. She was remembered as the first lady of the Soviet Union. Raisa Maksimovna Gorbachova was born on the 5th of January, 1932 in Rubtsovsk, Altai region. Her father was a railway man. He built railways. Her mother worked about the house. Raisa had a sister and a brother.

In 1949 Raisa had graduated school and entered in Moscow University. There she met Michael Gorbachov. In 1953 they have got married.

In 1985 Michael Sergeevich Gorbachov became the leader of Soviet Union. Raisa Maksimovna was the first who frequently accompanied with the husband on trips abroad. There she communicated in English freely, conducted the vigorous activity in sphere of culture and art, studied experience of foreign countries in the field of charity, established friendly relations between nations.

Raisa Maksimovna visited the Chernobyl atomic power station before its tragedy in 1989. She opened foreign exhibitions in Moscow. Due to her help great Russian writer Alexander Isaevich Solzhenitsyn has returned home.

She took care the orphans and visited the Children`s homes.

She met with actors and pop singers and created the Soviet Fund of Culture.

She helped to revive orthodox church. She always was good-looking and well dressed.

In 1987 the British magazine “Woman`s Owl” has named the woman of year. The international fund Together for the world has awarded Raisa Marsimovna with the premium of the Woman for the world

In 1997 she hardly was ill a cancer and on the 20th of September, 1999 has died. Raisa Maksimovna Gorbachova was buried on Novodevichem cemetery in Moscow. The Russians admire Raisa Gorbachova because she helped people in trouble and did a lot of charity.
