Verh-Inva- is a village of the Perm region. The administrative center of Verh-Inva is rural settlement. It locates on the right bank of the river Inva, southwest of the city Kudymkar.

The settlement is mentioned in written sources from 1678 оriginally as the Village of Upper ingwa. The village began in the early 18th century, when there was built a wooden St. George Church. Verh - Inva was the center of the Verh-Inva parish Solikamsk district (since the 1860s) and the Verh-Inva village Council (until 2006).

Verh-Inva’s Grandmthers

- Monument to the activist of the Soviet power E. N. Startsev, archaeological monument – Verh-Inva Parking , the building of a primary school. Our village is the birthplace of Alexander Alexandrovich Yakovkin , outstanding Russian chemist, corresponding member of USSR Academy of Sciences (1925), Andrei N. Zubov , Komi poet, one of the founders of the Komi-Permyak national literature.

This is a komi-permian writer, poet, teacher and author of text books. A lot of his poems became songs.

Father Grigoriy founded Verh-Inva church school. Wologdin Grigoriy Alexandrovich was the first teacher of Verh-Inva church school.

Budrina Ekaterina Aleksevna was the first woman teacher in Verh-Inva school. She was born in Verh-Inva. She worked as a teacher for 54 years.

Pronya spring Is situated near village Shelkova. Local people count this spring’s water is saint and medicinal.

Vezyasim is high right Bank of the river Inva within the village of Verh-Inva.
