Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку «Осенняя мистерия» - "Autumn mystery" (3 классы),

проведенное 26 ноября 2015 года учителями английского языка Колесниковой Т.Ф. и Моисеевой В.В.

" Autumn mystery "

Цель мероприятия:

1. Совершенствовать навыки монологической и диалогической речи обучающихся начальных классов.

2. Повышать мотивацию младших школьников к изучению английского языка.

3. Развивать артистизм, творческие способности обучающихся.

4. Познакомить обучающихся с обычаями и традициями празднования осенних праздников в Великобритании.

Оборудование: Оформление зала, яблоки, пластмассовые ножи, реквизит для сценок, песен и стихов, куклы и ширма для кукольного спектакля, MP3-диск с английскими песенками, презентация.

Ход мероприятия.

Teacher: Good morning, dear boys and girls, teachers and our guests! We are very glad to meet you on our merry holiday "Autumn mystery".

What season is it now? (It`s Autumn now. September, October and November are autumn months.)

Do you like autumn?

Why do you like autumn?

What can you do in autumn? (When the weather is fine. When the weather is bad.)

Let`s listen to the poems about autumn and autumn months.

1. Red leaves and yellow leaves,

There are a lot of autumn holidays in Great Britain. But the most popular are Harvest Festivals (on the 23 of September), Apple day (on the 21 of October), Halloween (on the 31 of October), Guy Fawkes`s night (on the 5 of November) and Thanksgiving Day (on the 26 of November).

Let`s speak about Apple Day.

Teacher: Ежегодно, начиная с конца августа и всю осень, в разных странах проходят праздники, посвященные сбору урожая: День яблока, День хлеба, Праздник каштанов, День винограда и другие. Суть всех праздников - благодарность родной земле за то, что есть на столе.

Англичане очень любят яблоки и часто говорят: (Английские пословицы и поговорки).

A rotten apple spoils the barrel. - Испорченное яблоко может испортить всю корзину яблок.

Teacher: И действительно, англичане говорят, «Если съедать каждый день по яблоку, то ваш врач останется без работы». Наверное, поэтому в 1990 году 21 октября в Англии по инициативе одной благотворительной организации, впервые был проведен праздник День яблока «Apple Day». Он проходит как ярмарка, где можно не только попробовать сотни фруктов. Но и купить саженцы, чтобы выращивать их в собственном саду или возле дома. Начинающие садоводы могут получить во время праздника квалифицированную консультацию по интересующим их «яблочным» вопросам. На празднике можно попробовать десятки самых разнообразных блюд из яблок и записать понравившиеся рецепты. Традиционным атрибутом этого праздника стали всевозможные «яблочные» конкурсы.

Дети делятся на команды по 6 человек, участники соревнования встают друг за другом. Вначале участники передают яблоко над головой поочередно, затем между ногами, последний передающий перебегает в начало шеренги, до тех пор, пока все не поменяются местами.

Teacher: Are you hungry? Let's play the game "Yummy-yummy".

If you may eat it you must say "yummy-yummy" and if you may not eat it you must say

"No, thank you".

Вы знаете, что на празднике День яблока традиционно проводится конкурс на самую длинную кожуру, которая получается при очистке яблока. В книге рекордов Гиннеса есть запись о том, что самую длинную кожуру - 52 метра 51 сантиметр - получила одна американка, которая чистила яблоко в течение 11 часов 30 минут. Может быть, мы тоже попытаемся побить этот рекорд?

Teacher: The most favourite autumn holiday for children in Great Britain is Halloween. Let's listen to the history about Halloween. (Смотрим видео)

Teacher: Halloween is the best holiday for children. Сhildren celebrate Halloween on the 31^st of October. Children wear masks and colorful costumes. They walk door to door and shout «trick or treat». Most people give them candies or fruit.

Let`s sing a song «Knock, knock, who are you? »

Teacher: The children make lanterns out of pumpkin. They cut a scary nose, two scary eyes and scary teeth on the pumpkin. And when the lantern is ready put the candle in it.
