A CHINESE VASE

When I was a child I loved visiting my grandmother. I thought her house

was as beautiful as a palace. As I grew older the house and garden seemed

smaller, but I still loved visiting the old lady. There were so many lovely things

I loved her paintings and the old clock, but |2 all I loved a big

Chinese vase which stood in the hall. It was |3| than me, and I couldn't
