Основные задачи:

• развитие аудитивных навыков;

• развитие умений монологической речи;

• активизация лексических навыков по теме «Профессии», «Черты характера»;

Оборудование:

• мультимедиа проектор, экран;

• компьютер;

Ход урока

1. Орг.момент. Приветствие.

Teacher (T): Good morning, students! I am glad to see you. Can you answer some of my questions? What date is it today? What day of the week is today? What is the weather like today? Do you like such weather? Why? (Why not?) Is anybody absent today? What's the matter with him (her)? (Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы учителя)

2. Речевая зарядка. Введение в тему урока.

T: Now I'd like you to name the characteristics which are necessary for some jobs. Do you know the opposites to the following words: rude, stupid, weak, unfriendly, quiet, brave, lucky, naughty? (Учащимся предлагается назвать антонимы к словам (черты характера) на экране.) Слайд 1.

Students (S): Polite, clever, strong, friendly, noisy, shy, unlucky, obedient. (По мере ответа на экране высвечивается слово с выделенными в нём буквами) Слайд 2.

T: And now make up the word out of the encircled letters. That's "; widows: 0; orphans: 0">

3. Развитие аудитивных навыков.

T: Now listen to the song and tell me please, which professions you've heard. (Учащиеся прослушивают песенку "People work" и называют профессии, о которых поётся в ней. На экране появляются рисунки с изображением представителей разных профессий.) Слайд 3

S: a tailor, a teacher, a farmer, a plumber, a doctor, a babysitter, etc.

4. Активизация изученной лексики в речи учащихся.

a) T: Say what characteristics are necessary for the following jobs: a doctor, a policeman? Let's do this work in groups. The first group will take the job of a doctor and the second team will take a policeman. (Учащимся в группах предлагается обсудить и назвать черты характера, необходимые для некоторых профессий) Слайд 4.

S: Group 1. A doctor should be friendly, clever, sociable, polite and caring.

Group 2. A policeman should be brave, intelligent, responsible, athletic and curious.

b) T: Now look at the screen, please. There is a puzzle. It is a picture divided into several pieces. Your task is to explain the meaning of the words written on the backside of each part and open the picture one by one. (Учитель предлагает учащимся посмотреть на экран и называть слова, написанные на обороте каждой части рисунка, объяснить их значения и открывать картину-пазл, чтобы узнать, какая профессия скрыта за ней.) Слайд 5.

S: creative - When a person is clever, talented and has imagination he is creative.

independent - A person who is ready to do everything without the help of other people is independent.

patient - A person who is quiet and not nervous is patient.

polite - A person who is not rude is polite. Etc.

(На рисунке изображён повар. Картина открывается по мере ответов учащихся.)

5. Физкультминутка. (По видеозаписи под музыку песни All around the kitchen) Слайд 6.

6. Активизация навыков монологической речи по теме.

a) Проверка дом. задания.

T: It is interesting to know what kind of person you would like to make friends with. Let's check up your homework. (Учитель организует проверку упр. 14, стр. 45 из дом. задания. Ученики по очереди выходят к доске и представляют свои идеи. Учитель обращает особое внимание на объяснение своего выбора качеств.)

Примерные ответы учащихся:

S: 1) I like curious people because they are interested in different things. I think they are smart and intelligent. I can talk about different things with them.

2) I'd like to make friends with sociable and polite people because they are not rude and they can speak to unknown people. They are not shy like me.

3) I like kind people. They are ready to share their things with other people. Etc.

b) T: By the way, what are you going to be? Why? Say what characteristics are necessary for your future jobs. (Учащиеся составляют свои высказывания о будущих профессиях.)

S: I am going to be a manager because I want to have a lot of money. A manager should be clever, sociable and creative.

S: I am going to be a teacher. Teachers teach children at school. They must be friendly and kind. They should be clever and intelligent. Etc.

7. Итог урока и выставление оценок

T: Well, children, our lesson is over. Thank you for your answers. You have worked very well today. What did you like to do at the lesson? (Выставление и комментирование оценок.)
