Конспект урока по английскому языку в 8 классе по теме «Природа в разных уголках мира»

Цели урока:

Познавательный аспект - увеличение объема знаний об окружающей природе

Развивающий аспект - развитие познавательных и творческих способностей учащихся, способности к сравнению и сопоставлению полученных знаний, способности логически излагать.

Воспитательный аспект - повышение интереса к изучению английского языка, воспитание культуры языкового общения, уважительного отношения друг к другу, умение внимательно слушать собеседника.

Учебный аспект - развитие речевых умений.

Задачи урока:

совершенствование речевых умений по теме;

совершенствование умений читать текст с детальным пониманием;

Ход урока

2. Определение темы урока

Т: There are a few pictures on the blackboard for you. Look at them and say what we are going to talk about ? (слайд №1)

Р: I think that I am not mistaken. It's the nature.

T: The theme of our lesson is «The nature in different parts of the world» (слайд)

T:Today we will learn to speak about nature in different countries, we will read the text and express your opinion, we will learn to make a film. This knowledge will be useful for your future exams.

3. Фонетическая разминка

And now let's have some phonetic drill. Look at the screen; it is a beautiful poem about nature. (слайд №2)

THE BEAUTY OF THE WORLD

I used to see the stars at night,

I used to hear the birds.

I used to feel the warmth of the sun,

I used to smell the springtime flowers,

And sing so happily,

I used to sing a song

About the beauty of the world.

4. T: Do you remember world records? Let`s check. (слайд)

Т: Let`s work in pairs. Open your books on page 34 ex.127 and match the names of the countries and the titles of the books.

T: Look at the screen and check your answers. (слайд)

T: Get into groups. Now, please read the text «Where the north begins» very attentively. Try to get as much information as possible. You have 5 minutes.
