New language: What is this?(What's this?) Look! It is (It's) a ..
New words:Pencil, rubber, shoe, box
Preparation: Real objects (A pencil, a rubber, a schoolbag, a pencil box)
Word cards for pencil, rubber, shoe, bag, box.
Procedure.
1.Warm up.
Teacher greets students.
T: Hello!
S1: Hello, my name's Aset.
S2: Hello, my name's Saken.
Teacher shows flash cards 1-4
T: Hello! My name's Rinat. S1: Hello, my name is Aslan.
T: Hello, my name's Berik. S1: Hello, my name'sSamat.
Teacher shows flesh cards with speech bubbles for children to read.
2. Revision. Class divided into two teams. Teacher names three words.
Children quickly name the first three letters of the words.
T: dog, cat, balloon Team A: d,c,b
T: apple, doll, car. Team B: a,d,c,etc
3. Introducing the new words.
Teacher holds up objects. T: A pencil
A rubber
A bag
Students read the words cards.
4.Introducing the new language.
Teacher holds up objects to introduce the question and answer.
T: What's this? It's a box.
T: What's this? It's a pencil.
Then a teacher puts a pencil in the box.
T: What's this? It's rubber.
Then a teacher puts a rubber in the box. Etc
Then teacher shakes a box, then opens it and takes the items.
T: What's this? S1: It's rubber.
T: What's this? S2: It's pencil.
Teacher writes the words on the blackboard, children read them.
T: oesh, agb, ruberb, oxb.
Ch:shoe, bag. rubber, box.
5. Listening - reading. p11. Tape 4.
Play tape 4. Children listen and read silently.
Play tape 4.Children join in.
Children read in pairs, taking the parts of Rinat and Saken.
6. Reading. Ex2, p17.
7.Speaking. Ex3, p11
Teacher: What's this? It's a … Students read … etc…
Teacher uses the real objects of the students in the class asking questions:
What's this? S:It's a bag.
Reading ex1, p17.
Students match the picture and the word.
Teacher names the new word and the students must understand and draw it in their albums.
