I. Organization moment.

T: Good afternoon!

P: Good afternoon, teacher!

T: How are you? Ок..

P: Very good..

T: Who is on duty today?

P: I am on duty today.

T: Who is absent?

P: All are present.

T: What day is it today?

P: Today is Tuesday.

T: What date is it today?

P: Today is the 24th of February

T: What season is it now?

P: It is now winter.

T: Ok! What is the temperature today?

P: The temperature is below Z(O).

T: What is the weather like today?

P: The weather is cold windy…..


II. Check your homework..

T: We'll check your homework.. What was your home task?

P: Our homework was ex 4 page 93

T: Is home task interesting?

P: Yes, home task is interesting.

III. Phonetic drill.

T: Guys, look at the board! This is English tongue-twister. Please, listen to me and repeat after me.

Swam, swam over the sea,

Swim, swan, swim

Swan, swam back again

Well swum swan.

Guys, Let's game "Who attentive". Close your eyes, open your eyes.

-Which word is absent?

- Who can find this word?


IV. Presentation of lesson material.

Сhildren open your class books at page 100. Look at the dialogue. I switch on audio and you listen to dialogue.

Ok, guys let's read by the chain.

Ex.2 p.100

Guys, look at the next exercise. Listen to the story again and who wants to be Kate, Ed, Libby, girl, and boy. Come up to board and act.

Sit down please.

E[.3 p. 100

Children, open your copybooks and write down the third exercise. True or false.

Guys, look at the board. These are new words. Listen to me and repeat after me


Working with words

Homonyms are words that have the same spelling but different meanings.

Stamp noun, verb ( таптау, штамп)

Spring noun (көктем, секіру )

Coach noun (экипаж, жаттықтырушы )

Float noun, verb (жүзу, )

Note noun (жазулар, ескертулер)

Light noun, adj. (жарық, жарқырау)

Осы сөздердің жазылуы бір болғанмен бұлардың мағыналары әр түрлі болып келеді. Қазақ тіліндегі омоним сөздер секілді.
