Разработка урока по теме:

«Путешествие в Шотландию» (6 класс)


Цели урока:

  1. Закрепление страноведческого материала

  2. Развитие лексико-грамматических навыков

  3. Контроль фонетических навыков

  4. Развитие языковой компетенции через обобщение знаний по теме «Путешествие в Шотландию»

Задачи урока:

Учебные: обучать навыкам работы

в мультимедийной среде, обобщение и повторение пройденного материала по теме "Scotland ", контроль знаний по теме.

Познавательные: активировать страноведческий материал.

Воспитательные: воспитывать культуру общения, формирование положительной мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, воспитание толерантного отношения друг к другу.

Развивающая - развитие логики, произвольного внимания, речевой догадки.

Развитие способности осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия.

Образовательная - научить применять изученный лексический материал по теме в речи, используя, полученные знания о культуре страны изучаемого языка. Дидактический материал: учебник Биболетовой М.З. «Enjoy English»

Презентация по теме « Scotland».

Необходимое оборудование и материалы.

Компьютер, мультимедийный проектор (презентация), раздаточный материал.


Ход и содержание урока

I. Организационный момент
T: Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. How are you?

P: Good morning. We are fine.

T: Sit down please. Let's start.

II. Постановка цели

T: Today we shall have a competition "We are going to visit Scotland". The tasks for you will be different. You should be very attentive and active. Why do people travel?

P: They want to know much.

T: Look on the screen and say what country we are going to travel.

P: Scotland.

T: You are right. It's a great pleasure for me to talk about Scotland. Today we are going to check your knowledge and to know who knows more information about Scotland.

III. Основной этап.

  1. T: Let's start our quiz. I'll divide you in 2 groups. First of all look at the screen. Here you can see a tongue twister. Listen to my reading first.

Very good! I see that you know the correct pronunciation of words. And what about your knowledge of symbols, flags, people of some Scotland. Now you'll work like that.

2. T: Look at the screen and answer to my questions:

  1. What are the symbols of Scotland?

  2. How do we call the national Scottish musical instrument?

  3. What do Scottish men wear?

  4. How do people in Scotland call their national flag?

  5. What is tartan?

T: Well. Now let's speak about the floral symbol. Look on the screen

P: The symbol of Scotland is thistle.

P: Thistle saved the country from the enemies during the War.

3. You should put the missing letters. These are the symbols of Scotland.

4. T: You should complete the sentence, use ex. 92 on page 99 in your textbooks.

5. T: Now let's fill in the tables with some interesting facts about Scotland. I give you 5 minutes. Let's start!

T: Thank you, my dear friends! It is time to check your knowledge in this field.

P: We are talking about Scotland. The capital of Scotland is Edinburgh. There are a lot of beautiful lakes in Scotland. But the most famous of them are Loch Lomond and Loch Ness. The lake "Loch Ness" is famous all over the world because of its monster. The greatest mountain is Ben Nevis. The national emblem of Scotland is a thistle. The national flag is a blue field with white diagonal crossed stripes on it. It's Saint Andrew's Cross.

T: You work very hard. I see that you know a lot of information about Scotland.


IV. Заключительный этап. Подведение итогов.

T: Do you like our trip to Scotland? Today we remember the information about this country. Thank you for your work, you were active, polite and very friendly.

The lesson is over. You are free now.
