  • to know information about the sights of London.

  • to answer the questions and do the test about them.

  • to express the opinion about one of the sight.

Phonetic exercise

Look at the word squares on your desks

and find the words which you know.

Repeat them all together.

(museum, monument, theatre, cinema,

hospital, shop, street, church, metro)

- We'll continue to talk about it but today

we'll have unusual lesson.

The centre of London is Trafalgar

Square. The name commemorates

the Battle of Trafalgar(1805), a British

bronze lions. There are two beautiful

fountains in the square.

They are in front of the National Gallery

which is one of the best picture galleries

of the world.

waxworks museum.

It has one of the largest collections of

wax models in the world.

It was founded by wax sculptor Marie

branches in Amsterdam, Bangkok, Berlin,

Dubai, Hong Kong, Moscow, New York

City and etc.

Sir Charles Barry started to build the

Houses of Parliament in 1840 in the
