Цели урока:

Обучающие:

1.Обучение диалогической речи по теме «Школа»; тренировка навыков использования модальных глаголов в речи

2. Повторение ранее изученных и освоение новых лексических единиц по теме «Школа».

Развивающие:

1.Развитие навыков и умений во всех видах речевой деятельности.

2.Развитие умения систематизировать новые знания и уметь применять их в нужное время.

3.Развитие способности к распределению внимания, к догадке, способности к осмыслению восприятия, к осуществлению продуктивных действий.

Воспитательные:

1.Воспитание ответственного отношения к учебной деятельности, любви к школе, уважения к труду учителя.

-Hello, boys and girls!

Glad to see you! My name is S.G. And today we have a conference of winners of international teenagers competition.

-For our conference we should make up some groups:

A group from the UK

A group from the USA

A group from Canada

A group from Australia

A group of Press Centre

-Please, boys and girls, take your places according the flags you got at the entrance.

-Let's start our conference. Let me introduce the correspondent of the conference, July. She'll ask you some questions. Good luck!

Correspondent:

• It's nice to meet you . Where are you from?

• Is your country large or small?

• What is the capital of the USA (Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom)?

• Oh, I know, it's a very beautiful city. I'd like to visit it. And what is the official language of the USA (Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom)?

• What interesting facts about your country can you name?

1. - To reach the aim of the lesson we have to do some steps. And the first is to learn to pronounce the names of countries. ( Организует аудирование и чтение у.4, с.35) стихотворения.

- Now you can name all English-speaking countries. Let' check up. (показывает флаги англоговорящих стран).

2 .Организует работу по отработке оборота to be famous for…

-Now let' remember what these countries are famous for.

Ask and answer questions. You can use p. 35, ex.7 as a model. It is the second step to the aim.

-Boys and girls, look at the screen. You can see some new words. Read them after me, please.

5. The fifth step to the aim of our lesson is the work in groups.

In your group you have to choose two researchers and a secretary.

Your task is to fill in the table after reading the texts from exercise 31,p.40. (прил 3)

The task of the group of Press Centre is to read the texts, to make a collage of English-speaking countries and get ready to highlight the work of our conference.
