Цель урока: систематизация знаний учащихся по теме «Дом. Квартира»

Задачи урока:

Учебные - 1) отработка и коррекция произношения трудных английских звуков;

2) закрепление изученной лексики по теме;

3) повторение конструкции

there is/there are;

4) формирование навыков чтения и аудирования по теме;

5) обучение устной речи по теме.

Развивающие - 1) развитие произносительных навыков;

</ 2) развитие памяти и внимания;

Воспитательные - 1) воспитывать умение работать в парах, группах и самостоятельно;

2) прививать любовь и интерес к иностранному языку.

Оснащение урока:

• карточки со звуками;

• тематические картинки (квартира, мебель)

• ТСО (компьютер, аудиокассета).

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент.

Good-morning children! How are you today? (ответы учащихся). I'm very glad to see you. Let's begin our English lesson.

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

East or West home is best. (Слайд 1)

1.There are some sounds: [i:], [h] [w], [t], [b], [s], [z].

2. Repeat them after me: [i:], [h] [w], [t], [b], [s], [z].

3. Give me your words with these sounds.

4. Read the proverb all together.

5. Give me a Russian equivalent.

A discussion.

3. Работа по теме урока.

1. Повторение лексики.

What is the proverb about? (It is about home, the place where we live).

Let's remember some words about the topic:

a) On the blackboard you can see pictures of different rooms of the house. Name them.

It is a …… (a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, a bedroom). (Слайд 2)

2. Повторение грамматической конструкции there is/are.

b) There are some words on my desk, they are the pieces of furniture. Take any paper with a word and put it into the right place on the blackboard.

For example, It is a chair. There is a chair in a dining room. (Слайд 3)

3. Формирование грамматических навыков устной речи.

c) On the blackboard you can see the picture. Describe it using there is/are. (for example, there is a carpet on the floor). (Слайд 3-4).

Answer my question, please: Do you live in a house or in a flat? (ответы учащихся).

In Britain some people live here. (Слайд 5).Look at the picture. Is it a house or a flat? It is a lighthouse. What is it? What is Russian for a lighthouse? Guess.

Учитель называет по-английски предметы мебели, а дети показывают рукой, ногой, или головой на этот предмет.

4. Развитие навыков аудирования.

People have different opinions about living in a lighthouse, a caravan, a teepee. (Слайд 6). Listen to the tape and say Do Rick, Mrs.Wilson and Ellis like living in their houses? ( ex. 2 p.57-58).

Работа в группах.

You will work in three groups (take the cards and find your partners). (Слайд 7).

The 1^st group will find good and bad points of living in a lighthouse (Приложение 1),

the 2^nd group - find good and bad points living in a caravan(Приложение 2),

the 3^rd group - find good and bad point living in a teepee(Приложение 3).

Fill in the tables.

5. Развитие умений устной речи.

So, we have discussed good and bad points living in unusual houses. (Слайд 8).

Would you like to live in one of these houses? (ответы учащихся).

4. Заключительная часть урока.

Подведение итогов урока.

Today we have learnt new information about unusual houses. You've worked hard. Thank you for your work.

Your hometask is to read the rhyme «There is the room in my house» and tell about your room.
