Урок по английскому языку для 8 класса "Global issues"

Тема: «Global Issues»

Цель урока: активизация, повторение и закрепление пройденного материала по теме «Global Issues».

Образовательные задачи: совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком по данной теме в монологической и диалогической форме речи, предъявлять приобретённые знания в ситуациях, приближенных к реальным.

Воспитательные задачи: учить обучающихся выражать и отстаивать свою точку зрения, дискутировать, используя речевой этикет.

Развивающие задачи: развивать эмоциональную сферу подростков, их мышление, воображение, познавательный интерес, индивидуальные способности.

Оборудование урока: видеофильм, тематические картинки, раздаточные карточки с текстом песни; аудиозапись песни Джонни Кэша «Don't Go Near The Water» со слайдшоу; магнитная доска, альбомные листочки и фломастеры на столах обучающихся.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент.

2. Погружение.

Звучит песня Д. Кэша в сопровождении слайдшоу.

3. Вступительное слово учителя о теме, цели и задачах урока.

Teacher: Our world is really wonderful. We all live surrounded by the beauty of rivers, seas, mountains, fields with grass and flowers. It's scary to imagine that a day that all this beauty will disappear. We can see that nature faces a great threat. A lot of people are concerned about the current global issues. That is why at our lesson today, we are going to discuss the ways to protect our planet. We should answer some important questions today! Why is our planet in danger? Are you environmentally friendly? What can you do every day to help the planet?

4. Фонетическая зарядка.

Teacher: Let's revise some key words that will assist you during our discussion.

5. Активизация ЛЕ темы.

6. Просмотр видеосюжета.

7. Прослушивание песни.

Teacher: Now, will you listen to a Jonny Cash's song «Don't Go Near The Water»?

(Во время повторного прослушивания обучающиеся работают с раздаточными карточками, заполняя пробелы в тексте песни пропущенными словами.)

8. Обсуждение глобальных проблем в группах.

Teacher: Now it's time to make four groups of four and to discuss some global issues of our planet. Choose a leader of each group who will help the others during the discussion. Will you talk about any environmental problems and their consequences, and share your own ideas?

(Учитель контролирует работу групп, передвигаясь по классу и прислушиваясь к обсуждению, побуждая лидеров каждой группы активизировать обсуждение.)

9. Творческая работа.

Teacher: Okay guys, well done! Now I'd like you to create posters representing some global issues and to answer the question "How can people protect our planet?".

(Обучающиеся пользуются альбомными листочками и фломастерами, лежащими на их столах. По окончанию работы учитель развешивает готовые постеры на магнитной доске.)

10. Заключительный этап урока.

Учитель подводит итог урока, объявляет оценки.
