The Job Interview

A job interview is your opportunity to present your talents to a prospective employer. During the interview, an employer judges your qualifications, appearance, and general fitness for the job opening. It is your opportunity to convince the employer that you can make a real contribution.

Equally important, the interview gives you a chance to evaluate the job, the employer, and the company. The interview helps you decide if the job meets your career needs and interests and whether the employer is the kind you want to work for.

Before each interview, though, you should act as if the job you are applying for is the one you want - because it may be. To present your qualifications most advantageously, you have to prepare. You should have the needed papers ready and the necessary information about yourself memorized. And you should know how to act at the interview to make it an opportunity to "sell" your skills.

Собеседование

Собеседование это ваша возможность представить свои таланты потенциальному работодателю. Во время собеседования работодатель оценивает вашу квалификацию, внешний вид и общую физическую подготовку для вакансии. Это ваша возможность убедить работодателя, что вы можете внести вклад в работу компании.

Не менее важно то, что собеседование дает вам возможность оценить работу, работодателя, и саму компанию. Оно поможет вам решить, соответствует ли работа вашей карьере и интересам и является ли работодатель тем, с кем вы хотите работать.

Перед каждым собеседованием вы должны вести себя так, словно работа, на которую вы претендуете именно то, что вам хочется - возможно, это действительно так. Чтобы показать свою квалификацию весьма успешно, вы должны подготовиться. Вам следует иметь необходимые документы и знать всю необходимую информацию. И вы должны знать, как вести себя во время собеседования, чтобы получить шанс "продать" свои навыки.
