-What is name of the famous clock in London? (Its name is Big Ben)

- Where does Big Ben Stand? (Big Ben stands near the Houses of Parliament)

- Does the Queen of Britain live in the Tower? (No, she doesn't )

-Where does the Queen stay when she is in London? (She stays in the Buckingham Palace)

Listen to my stories and choose the picture.

1. It is very old. It has a long cruel history. You can see it from the river Thames. It is not just one building. Many ears ago the Kings and the Queens of Britain lived in this place. (the Tower of London)

2. It stands near the Houses of Parliament. It is really a bell. It has a deep tone and you can hear it on the radio. It is a famous clock. (Big Ben)

What English tenses do you know? (Present, Past, Future)

Present Simple Tens (настоящее простое время)

We play football every summer.(Do we play?)

My sister reads book. (Does she read?)

(Для настоящего простого времени используется первая основная форма глагола (она приведена в словаре). Только в 3-м лице единственного числа (he, she, it) к ней прибавляется окончание -s.

В вопросительных предложениях используются: вспомогательный глагол do (does- в 3-м лице ед. числа), инфинитив смыслового глагола без -to.

В отрицательных предложениях используются: вспомогательный глагол -do (does), частица -not, инфинитив глагола без -to.

Слова-спутники: usually (обычно) He usually plays in the park.

Every day/months/ year/(каждый день) He goes to school every day.

Sometimes- Sometimes he plays chess. Often- She often plays chess. always, never.

The Present Continuous Tens (Употребляется для выражения действий, которые происходят в момент речи или в ближайшем будущем) NOW, AT THE MOMENT, LISTEN! LOOK!

(He is reading a book now. She is doing her homework at this moment. Listen! She is singing. Look! Our teacher is coming.)
