Урок-экскурсия "A walking-tour of the Belgorod town"

Цели:

Социокультурный аспект:

знакомство учащихся с достопримечательностями Белгорода.

Развивающий аспект:

развитие способности к сравнению и сопоставлению речевых единиц, к логическому изложению содержания высказывания, развитие коммуникабельности, умению осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные речевые действия;

развитие способности к догадке (по речевым образцам и опорам), способности логически излагать и обобщать свои высказывания, развитие личностной активности и чувства национальной самобытности;

Воспитательный аспект:

формирование патриотического отношения к своему городу, воспитание уважительного отношения к британской культуре через глубокое осознание своей родной культуры, формирование ценностного отношения к историческому прошлому и настоящему своего края и чувства гордости за свою малую Родину;

формирование способности работать в группе, достигать согласия в условиях различных взглядов, воспитание чувства ответственности за совместную работу.

Учебный аспект:

развитие речевых умений (говорить, писать, общаться);

закрепить речевые образцы, грамматические структуры, лексику по теме;

научить переносить знания в новую ситуацию общения; формирование лексических и грамматических навыков речевого умения в монологической и диалогической формах

практиковать в диалогической речи по сопутствующим темам.

Сопутствующие задачи: развитие умения воспринимать на слух с целью извлечения конкретной информации.

Этапы урока:

организационный момент;

подготовка учащихся к работе на основном этапе (актуализация, мотивация);

усвоения новых знаний;

закрепления знаний;

информация о домашнем задании;

подведение итогов урока;

рефлексия.


Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

Teacher-Hello, dear children! Nice to meet you! Let's greet each other.

T-How are you?/ How's life?/ How are you getting on?/…

Pupil-Fine. / Not too bad. / I'm great…. Thank you. And you?

P-I'm OK, too.

T -What is the weather like today?

P-They say it will be sunny/rainy/cloudy/worm…

T-Well, I think it's the right weather to go for a walk around our native town.

Речевая зарядка

T-When people think of a town or a city, they picture in their mind different things. What do you imagine when you think of your native town?

P-1-…shops because we buy a lot of different things in shops and supermarkets

P-2-…cinemas because I like to go to the movies

P-3-…theatres because we go there with our friends

P-4-. . . people because we have many friends, relatives, teachers around us

I1. Введение нового материала. (Introduction)

T-All right, let's start our excursion from our Land Study Museum

Let me introduce you our guides (классу представляются двое учащихся выступающих в качестве гидов). Before listening to their reports I'd like you to do some phonetic drill. Let's pronounce correctly the words you need to understand our excursion. Listen and repeat after me: (на доске слова с транскрипций и переводом)

Guide-1- I'd like to tell you about my native town Belgorod from ancient times. You know Belgorod is one of the oldest towns in the country. It has a long and interesting history. People settled on the Seversky Donets River in the Stone and Bronze Ages. The first settlements of Slavs were established there in the 1lth century.

Originally it was a very small settlement of Slavs. In 1596, under Tsar Fyodor Ioanovich, a fortress was built. It was of great strategic importance. The site for a fortress on the right bank of the Seversky Donets River was well chosen by the Russian builders. The central part of the fortress was the Kremlin with its 8 towers.

Guide-2 -In fact, there were three fortresses in Belgorod. Belgorod had been built by 1651 under the supervision of the army chief (voivode) Prince B. A. Repnin. Gradually Belgorod grew stronger and stronger and in 1727, under Empress Katherine I of all Russia, it became the chief administrative centre of the region comprising Belgorod.

In 1730 Belgorod was presented with its own coat of arms. Here you can see a picture of the coat of arms of Belgorod.

In conclusion I'd like to say that Belgorod has changed its status several times in the course of the centuries.

I'd like to finish my report with the poem about my native town.

T: Children. , I see that you are tired a little. Let's stop our excursion and have a rest. Will you stand up, please, stay in line, put your hands on the shoulders of your classmate and let's try to do a massage. Listen and repeat: a massage to titled ladies and tired tycoons. Thank you.

T: So, children, it's not a secret that Belgorod is dear for us. Let's try to make a story about our town. This table will help you. Slide№20

You should work in groups. And the best story we'll send to England like a video letter. I'll explain how to work with it. The first sentence is:

1. Belgorod is my native town.

2. It is a modern town.

3. The popular places of B. are … .

4. There are many historical monuments to famous people. Such as a monument to…, … .

5. I advise to take pictures near … , because … .

6. The famous people of Belgorod are …, … .

7. We are proud of Khorkina, because she is a great gymnast.

8. I think my town is worth seeing and admiring.

9. I'm proud of history, the flag, people, historical places and monuments of Belgorod.
