WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT BRITAIN?
(Викторина по страноведению для 5-7-х классов)
Цель : Способствовать повышению интереса учащихся к изучению английского языка.
Задачи:
-
Повторить изученный учебный материал в неформальной обстановке во время игры.
-
Закрепление изученого страноведческого материала при переходе на новый УМК (новый раздел).
Состав участников: 7 команд по 2 участника ( по количеству классов ).
Оборудование: карточки с баллами, сигнальные карточки, карточки с заданиями, названия команд, виды Британии и Лондона.
Ход игры.
I. Начало викторины. Организационный момент.
Ведущий: Good day, dear friends! Today you can see and take part in our game "What do you know about Britain?". I want to invite our teams. Each team has 4 players. Let me introduce them (названия команд).
Dear players, I'm going to ask you some questions about Britain. You must answer the questions and your friends can't help you. You'll have 5 rounds and 22 questions. Each question has its price: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 150 points. Who will collect the most sum of points -the winner of our game! Do you understand our rules? Are you ready?
