План-конспект урока английского языка в 11 классе.

Тема урока: «Выбор профессии. Мои планы на будущее»

Цель: Совершенствовать умение монологической, диалогической речи, формировать навыки живого общения, развивать коммуникативную компетенцию, воспитывать успешную личность через осознанный выбор профессии.

Тип урока: обобщение знаний

Оснащение урока: ИКТ, дидактические карточки, наглядность.



Ход урока



  1. Организационный момент. Целеполагание. Речевая зарядка.



  • Good morning, everybody! Glad to see you. Today is our last lesson on the topic «Choosing Jobs». We are going to sum up what we have learnt during our previous lessons. We'll find out what professions are the most popular today and what professions you'll never choose. We'll speak about the importance of jobs you've chosen and you'll give your reasons why you have chosen your future job.

Беседа о самочувствии, настроении, готовности плодотворно поработать на уроке.



  1. Фонетическая зарядка.



  • Look at the blackboard. Here is the saying of one unknown man. Let's read it with the right sounds. Translate it and say if you agree or disagree with these words. Give your reasons.

«Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life».

  • As for me I consider the person who loves his job successful. It's the best prize if you love your job. So, it's important to choose the right job, isn't it? P1…P4…



  1. Развитие навыков говорения.



  1. «One-minute talks».

Each of the pupil is supposed to choose any of the points below:

  • professions which attract me mostly

  • how I can use my hobby in my future career

  • profession of my parents and their influence on me

  • the role of school and teachers in my making the decision

- Look through the sentences and say: «What is important about job?» (Приложение 1)



с) Критерии важности работы для учащихся

- Now pupils I'd like to know what the most important is for you in choosing a job. Arrange the following factors in the order of importance for you. Give your reasons.



  1. Good salary or wages

  2. Interesting and varied work

  3. Work which is useful to society

  4. Opportunities to meet people and travel

  5. Job satisfaction

  6. Another factor - what?



  1. Работа в группах. Your task is:



  • Say what professions you would like to have and why? (Для двух групп)

  • Say what you know about the professions that interest you. (Для двух групп)

  • Discuss with your partners what professions are the most popular with young people nowadays and say why they are popular with them. Make the list of these professions and comment upon. (1 группа)

  • Discuss what professions you would never choose and say why. Make the list of these professions and explain the criteria of your choice. (2 группа)



  1. Релакспауза. English Humour.



  1. Diner: «There's something wrong with these hot dogs.»

Waiter: «Well, don't tell it to me, I'm only a waiter, not a vet.»



  1. «Your husband is too fond of strong coffee», said the doctor. «You must not let him have it. He gets too excited». «But, doctor, you should see how excited he gets when I give him weak coffee».



  1. Предложение подходящей работы для одноклассников. Проверка домашнего задания.



- Your home task was to prepare the statements about your future profession explaning why you have made such choice and giving your reasons. But before speaking about your future profession we'll find out the classmates' predictions about them.

Example:

I think Kate would make a good vet because she loves animals, knows a lot about them. Her favourite subject is Biology. She is helpful and kind-hearted.

Каждый ученик высказывается о предполагаемой профессии Кати, затем Катя объявляет свою профессию. Предположения одноклассников совпали с Катиным мнением.

Kate! How well your classmates know you!

Затем переходим к остальным ученикам.



  1. Беседа по принципу дельфийского стола.



После того, как каждый учащийся рассказал, какую он выбрал профессию, их задача, по принципу дельфийского стола, обосновать свой выбор, доказать, что его профессия самая полезная и важная в наше время. В спорах и обсуждениях выбирается одна профессия.

- You` ve made your choice. As it came out the most useful and important profession in your class is the profession of a doctor. The pupils from the other class have chosen the profession of a programmer. So we can come to the conclusion that all the professions are important and all the professions are in need.



  1. Подведение итогов урока. Рефлексия. Выставление отметок. Домашнее задание.



- Our lesson is coming up to the end. Let's sum up what you have done and learnt during this lesson. I'd like to know what information, opinions or something else from our lesson you will use in future.

Предполагаемые ответы:

  • Criteria of importance of the job

  • What professions are popular and useful nowadays

  • My classmates` opinions about my future profession

  • Ability to argue in favour of my future profession

  1. Taking a job must think over future employment; prospects; if it suits his interests; if it's realistic goal; if he is able to take it up.



  1. Work satisfies someone if…(The career is suitable…).

it's not monotonous; he has a realistic idea of it; he takes an interest in it; he isn't antagonistic to the idea of work; it gives promotion in the future; if he is good at it.



  1. As for my future job I am concerned with (whether, if)….

I can get practical experience; I can learn a trade first; I like the people around; the job is secure; it will help me to establish myself in life; my interests can be channelled into the work.
