Проблема урока:Would you like to live in an unusual house?

Цель урока: организация общения учащихся при обсуждении проблемы «Дом. Вам бы хотелось жить в необычном доме»


Задачи урока:

- Речевая компетенция: Развитие коммуникативных умений в четырех основных видах речевой деятельности: аудировании текстов о разных типах домов, чтении текстов о необычных домах в Британии с пониманием основного содержания, в говорении (составлении диалогов - расспросов о любимых комнатах в доме, монологических высказываний о необычных домах, отработка лексических единиц по теме «Дом», письме (правописании английских слов).

- Языковая компетенция:

Овладение новыми лексическими единицами по теме «Дом», новой грамматической конструкцией «I wish I had».

- Социокультурная компетенция:

Приобщение учащихся к культуре, реалиям Великобритании в рамках темы «Дом. Необычные дома в Британии». Формирование умения представлять свою страну, ее культуру в условиях иноязычного межкультурного общения по теме «Дом»

- Компенсаторная компетенция:

Развитие умения использовать мимику и жесты при общении, языковую догадку при чтении и аудировании текстов о необычных домах в Британии

-Учебно-познавательная компетенция:

Совершенствование произносительных навыков, пополнение лексического запаса, развитие специальных учебных умений по теме «Дом»

Оборудование:

Учебник «Английский язык», 6 класс, В.П. Кузовлев, страница 57-59 рабочая тетрадь, страница 41, картинки с изображением мебели, комнат, разных типов домов, аудиокассета, компьютер и компьютерная презентация.


Ход урока (конспект)

I. Оргмомент

1. Приветствие

Т- Good morning, children!

P1- Good morning, teacher!

Т- Nice to see you!

P2 - Nice to see you too!

Т - How are you?

P3- OK, thanks. And you?

Т - I 'm fine, thank you.

II. Объявление темы и проблемы урока. Введение в проблему урока.

Т. The theme of our lesson is «Home, sweet home». Today we are discussing the problem «What types of houses do people live in?» Would you like to live in an unusual house?

(Компьютерная презентация. На экране название темы, проблемы, иллюстрации «Дом. Квартира»)

III. Основная часть.

1. Фонетическая зарядка

Тренировка произносительных навыков. Повторение лексических единиц по теме «Дом», используя наглядность

What s this?

It' s a sofa.

It' s a chair.

It' s a wardrobe.

2. Речевая зарядка. Развитие речевого аппарата.

Т - What date is it today?

P1- Today is the 26th of November.

T - What day of the week is it today?

P2- Today is Friday.

T - Did you have breakfast today in the morning?

P3- Yes, I did.

T - What did you have for breakfast?

P4- I had got cereal with milk and a cup of tea.

T - Where did you have breakfast?

P5 - In the kitchen.

T - In what room do we watch TV?

P6- In the living-room.

T - Where do people usually sleep?

P7- In the bedroom.

T- Do we wash ourselves in the bathroom or in the dinning-room?

P8- In the bathroom.

3. Игра «A snowball» (Снежный ком).

Активизация лексических единиц по теме «Дом».

T. In my house I have got a sofa.

P1. In my house I have got a sofa and a table.

P2. In my house I have got a sofa, a table and a cupboard.

Победитель тот, кто вспомнит все слова.


4. Работа над грамматическим материалом (Активизация грамматических навыков , конструкции there is\are, there was\were)

1) Say in the Past

T . There is a television set in the living room.

P1 There was a television set in the living room.

T. There are two armchairs in the room.

P2 There were two armchairs in the room.

T. There is a bed in my room.

P3. There was a bed in my room.

T. There are books in the bookshelves.

P4. There were books in the bookshelves.


2) Учитель показывает картинку спальни. Учащиеся смотрят на нее в течение 1 минуты, затем отвечают на вопрос учителя.

T. What was there in the picture?

P. There was a desk, a bed, a wardrobe, two chairs, a carpet in the picture.


5. Ответить на вопросы учителя (Развитие умений отвечать на вопросы)

Answer my questions.

Do you live in a flat or in a house?

Is your flat (house) big or small?

What rooms are there in your flat?

Are there modern conveniences in your flat?

What are they?

Have you got a room of your own?

What is your favourite room?


6. Автоматизации диалогической речи (подготовленные диалоги)

T. Wonderful! So it is time to perform your dialogues. Your homework was to prepare dialogues about your favourite room.

I'll give you two minutes to be ready.

Звучит музыка. Дети повторяют диалоги.


7. Представление диалогов. (Развитие навыков диалогической речи). Диалог-расcпрос.

Your time is over.

Come here and act.

Dialogue 1.

- Have you got a room of your own?

- Yes, I have.

- Is it big?

- No it isn' t very big but it is cosy.

- What furniture is there in your room?

- There is a bed, a desk, two chairs, a wardrobe and a bookshelf there

- Is there a carpet on the floor?

- Yes, it is.

- Do you like your room?

- Yes, of course. It is the best.

Dialogue 2.

  • Have you got your own room?

  • No it isn t.

  • What is your favourite room?

  • My favourite room is a living room.

  • Why do you like it?

  • Because I can watch TV and play computer games there.

  • Is there a lot of furniture there?

  • No it isn' t. Besides a TV set and a computer there is a sofa two armchairs and a table there.

Dialogue 3.

  • How many rooms are there in your flat?

  • There are 3 rooms in it.

  • What room do you like best?

  • My favourite room is my own room.

  • Is your room comfortable?

  • Yes, it is very comfortable.

  • Do you share it with your sister?

  • Yes, I do.

  • Describe it please.

  • There is a desk and a chair in front of the window. In the corner of the room there is a computer desk. There is a bed next to the computer desk. There are two bookshelves on the wall. On the floor there is a carpet.

  • Oh, thank you.

8. Минута релаксации. Закрепление лексического потенциала.

Дети поют песню.

9. Предъявление лексики. Предъявление проблемы урока «Would you like to live an unusual house?»

T. Children have you heard anything about a lighthouse a caravan a teepee a houseboat?

Ps. No

Работа с учебником, стр. 57.

Look at the picture at p. 57.

Some people in Britain live in unusual houses. Here are some of them. Match the pictures and the names of the houses.

Example.

P1 - The 1st picture is a houseboat. P2 - The 2nd picture is a lighthouse, etc.

Затем учащиеся читают информацию об этих домах в лингвострановедческом справочнике.

На экране новые слова.

a teepee- вигвам, тент для жилья индейцев

a caravan - караван-фургон

a houseboat- плавучий дом

a lighthouse- маяк

ordinary- обычный

T. Read the words and write down them in your vocabularies.

10. Ознакомление с новым грамматическим материалом (конструкция I wish I had). Формирование грамматических навыков.

T. Translate the sentence (на экране)

«I wish I had a room of my own».

P1. Я хочу, чтобы у меня была моя собственная комната.

P2. Как бы мне хотелось иметь свою собственную комнату.

«I wish I had a plane» (Я хочу, чтобы у меня был самолет).

«I wish he were\was here now». (Я хочу, чтобы он был здесь сейчас).

(Past Simple выражает желание, которое или невыполнимо, или почти не выполнимо).

11. Работа над текстами упр.2 на 57.

Развитие навыков ознакомительного чтения.

(ознакомительное чтение - reading for the main idea). Работа в группах. (3 группы).

T. The owners of the homes have different opinions about living in them.

Do Rick, Mrs. Wilson and Ellis like living in their houses?

(Учащиеся каждой группы читают только одну часть текста. Остальные учащиеся могут слушать текст, чтобы найти ответ).

После чтения учитель задает вопросы.

  1. Does Rick like living in his house? (вопрос 1 -ой группе).

P1 Yes sure. Rick likes living in his house in the lighthouse. The lighthouse is far from the town and it' s quiet here.

Does Mrs. Wilson like living in her house?

(вопрос 2-ой группе)

P2 No she doesn't. She didn't like living in the caravan. So she was happy when they bought a small summer house.

3. Did Ellis like living in her teepee?

(вопрос 3 -ей группы)

It was very small for a family. She didn't have a room of her own. She didn't like living in her teepee.

12. Говорение. (Актуализация навыков монологической речи по теме «Необычные дома») упр. 6 стр. 59

These houses are unusual houses. Read the problem of Lesson 5.

Would you like to live in one of these houses?

Why? (учащиеся используют модели, данные в упражнении в своих ответах).

Example

P4 I'd like to live in a teepee. It is romantic and unusual. There are no modern conveniences in the teepee. To my mind, it is wonderful!

P5. I wouldn't like to live in a houseboat!

On the one hand it is romantic!

But on the other hand there is no running water and central heating there.

That' s why it is not convenient!

  1. Аудирование. Развитие навыков аудирования с пониманием основного содержания.

Teacher. And now I'd like to tell you about other types of houses: a cottage, a mansion and a skyscraper.

На экране новые слова

a cottage

a mansion

a skyscraper

high-class- высококлассный

luxurious- роскошный

Listen to the information about these houses and then match the types of houses with the correct pictures.

(Каждая группа получает по 3 картинки - одноэтажный дом, небоскреб, особняк)

Teacher.

  • Cottages can be found in the countryside.

  • They are probably the most economical houses.

  • They are usually quiet small.

  • Mansions can be found in the countryside in towns in the suburbs of cities. They are probably the most expensive houses. They are very big and have large gardens.

  • We can see skyscrapers in large cities. They are rather expensive because they are usually high-class, luxurious buildings.

(Учащиеся соотносят типы домов с картинками. Match the types of houses with the correct pictures).

Teacher.

There are different opinions about good houses, a good room.

Next lesson we will discuss the problem

«What makes a good house?»

What makes a good room?

What is your idea of a good house, of a good room?

  1. Домашнее задание (Homework)

Open your diaries and write down the homework AB. ex. 5 p.41.(You must write down your opinion about good houses and next lesson tell about it).

3. Выставление и комментарий оценок.

Today you have worked very good and your marks are 5;4.

You were active.

Your dialogues were interesting but pay attention on the intonation.

You make a lot of mistakes, be careful, please.
