1.учебные цели- совершенствование навыков чтения; отработка употребления грамматического материала( Past Simple) в устной и письменной речи;
2.развивающие цели- развивать языковые способности , познавательную активность;
3. воспитательные цели- способствовать развитию стойкой мотивации к изучаемому предмету.

We are glad to see you.
T-I am glad to see you too. Sit down, please. oday we`ll continue to study the topic «Telling stories» in
which we use Past Simple Tense. But first of all, let`s train some sounds.

You know that the ending -ed of the verbs in Past Simple is pronounced in different ways.
Let`s keep it in mind:
[t]- looked, helped, talked, finished
[d]- played, smiled, lived, studied
[id]- painted, needed, collected, skated
Today at our lesson we have a guest.
I think you know him very well. He is a postman Pechkin. He has a letter for us from his friends Sharik and Matroskin.
Do you want to know what this letter is about?
Today we`ll read this letter and will write the answer to Sharik and Matroskin.

But look! It`s an unusual letter. There are some words in brackets here. So, we should the brackets using the right form of the verbs.
