• To help pupils to understand the new theme and develop pupils habits and skills and to explain the grammar rule.

• To studying the new words, answering the question and doing exercises.

Good morning, dear girls!

I'm glad to see you.

-There is an English proverb at the blackboard. Let's read it, translate into Kazakh.

2. Warming-up

- Let me announce the theme of our lesson. We are going to speak about Flat.

-The Russian equivalent is "Век живи ,век учись"

-The Kazakh equivalent is "Біле бер қанша білсең тағы тіле,Жетерсің мақсатыңа біле,біле."because the aim of the lesson is to repeat all grammar and lexical materials from unit six. If anybody hasn't understood something, today he or she has a chance to do it.

1. Grammar rule.

There is/There are конструкциясы

Ағылшын тілінде көптеген сөйлемдер there is/there are тіркесімен басталады.Белгілі бір мекендегі немесе уақыт аралығындағы әлі белгісіз зат, қүбылыс, факты туралы айтылар кезде there is/there are тіркесімен келетін сөйлемдер қолданылады.

There is зат есімнің жекеше түрінің алдынаң, there are - зат есімің көпше түрінің алдынан қойылады.

Мысалы: There is a table in room. There are tables in the room.

Сөйлем соңыңда мекен пысықтауыш (мезгіл пысықтауыш) аталса оңда әрдайым there is/there are тіркесі қолданылады.

Мысалы: There is a window in the room. There is a meeting tonight.

The game -I'll read you the description of the rooms; you are to guess what room I'm reading about. / тақтада бөлмелердің суреттері ілінеді/

1. The room is not big. There is a bed, a mirror, a chair and a table there. We sleep there. (It's a bedroom.)

2. This room is large. In the middle of the room there is a big table. There are some chairs near the table. On the table there are cups, plates and spoons. (It's a dining - room.)

3. There is a refrigerator, a stove and a cupboard in this room. We usually cook there. (It's a kitchen.)

4. There is a desk, a chair and an armchair, a sofa, a TV set and a carpet in this room. (It's a living-room.)

5. In this room there is a desk, bookshelves, a computer. You can do your homework or play there. (It's a children's room.)
