«FOOD HABITS»

Тема урока: "Food habits"

Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации знаний;

Цель урока: активизировать фонетические, лексические и грамматические умения и навыки учащихся;

Задачи:

Образовательные:

- повторение изученного лексического материала, совершенствование навыков диалогической и монологической речи, а также навыка аудирования;

Практические:

- формирование навыков работы в группе;

Развивающие:

- развитие самостоятельности, креативности и способности осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия;

Воспитательные:

- привитие интереса к английскому языку и культуре изучаемого языка;

- формирование потребности и способности понимать чужую точку зрения и выражать своё;





Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийная доска, экран, презентация Power Point.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.

-Good morning girls and boys. I'm glad to see you. Sit down, please.

2. Сообщение целей урока.

At the last lesson we talked about different kinds of food, about healthy food, about fast food, about fruits and vegetables. Today we are going to revise and to practice the vocabulary that we have already learned and of course to talk about different food habits.

3. Активизация лексики в речи.

-As you see you have a piece of paper on your tables. I want each group to write as many words as you can remember on this paper on the topic «FOOD». Each team has its own topic. The first team - will write VEGETABLES. The second - FRUITS. The third group - sweet things (PASTRY). The fourth group - will write UNHEALTHY FOOD. You have 1 minute.

(after 1 minute)

-The time is over. Please put your pens and let's check your answers. Each group presents their answers, other groups add some words if they know.

-Good job boys and girls!





4. Развитие монологической речи.

-What kind of food is popular in Russia? What traditional Russian or maybe Tatar dishes can you name?

Children tell their ideas.

-I see that you know Russian food habits and what about British food? Do you know what do people in Britain like to eat?

-Thank you guys. Now please look at these sentences and tell me are these statements true or false?

Discussing the statements.

Now we are going to watch a video about traditional British food. But before doing this I want you to pay attention to vocabulary. You task is to match the word with its definition. Now in groups please try to do it. I give you 1,5 minutes.

-Now let's look at our statements and see were you right or not.

-The last thing I want you to do for today is SEE-THINK-WONDER.

Please look at the picture and tell me what can you see? What is he or she doing? And at last what do you think about looking at it?

Doing this activity.
