Обобщающий урок

по теме: "Ecology" в рамках речевой ситуации "Don't Pollute the Nature", проведенный в 7 классе.

Тема: "Don't Pollute the Nature".

Задачи:

Воспитывающий аспект: Тренировать у учащихся коммуникативные навыки, обобщить и расширить знания по теме «Экология» в рамках речевой ситуации «Не загрязняйте окружающую среду». Активизировать и закрепить употребление в речи лексического материала, разговорных клише.


Развивающий аспект: Развивать навыки чтения и аудирования с извлечением необходимой информации. Развивать мышление, внимание.


Воспитывающий аспект: Воспитывать у учащихся бережное отношение к окружающей среде.

Оборудование: компьютер, интерактивная доска, речевые клише (на партах), hand-outs, постер "Our Promise".

Ход урока:


  1. Оргмомент.


1. Приветствие.

Hello, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. I hope you are fine and are ready to work at our lesson, aren't you? So we"lll start our English lesson.

2. Создание положительного настроя к уроку ( на доске картинка с изображением улыбающегося солнца)

Now, boys and girls! Look at the blackboard! What can you see? Yes, "The Funny Sun". It will bring us good luck and mood. It is smiling. Let's smile it too. Smile each other.

  1. Вступительное слово учителя. Объявление задач урока.


Т: Children, as you see, today we have an unusual lesson. We have guests too.

Boys and girls, look at the pictures, please, and tell me what will be the theme of our lesson today?

P1: I think we'll speak about the nature today.

T: Yes, you are right, we'll speak about the nature, environment, ecology today.Besides we'll write and read in English too.

Т: Children, as you know the theme of our lesson is "don't pollute the nature". And now I'd like you to answer some questions.

T: 1. What does the word environment mean?

P1: I think it means oceans, seas, rivers, plants, forests.

T: 2. What are the most serious ecological problems today?

P2: I suppose, water, air, land pollution are the most serious ecological problems today.

T: 3. What do you think is in danger today?

P3: As for me, the climate, the animals, the plants, the atmosphere are in danger today.

T: And people too. Do you agree? You are right. Exellent!

  1. Чтение и аудирование.

1.T: Children, now let's read and listen to the text "Ecology of Man" and some exercises about the text.

(учащиеся читают текст по предложениям потом выполняют задания: АфанасьеваО.В. English, VI часть, стр. 86, упр.8)

T: Children of Group A are to fill in the gaps with a proper word. Group B must say if the statements are True or False.


But first, let's look at the new words from the text.

Ecology of Man

It may sound funny to you, but man needs protection and care as much as animals do. People's habitats- their homes, towns and cities- must be kept ecologically clean. In the places where people drink dirty water, eat bad food and breath polluted air they suffer from serious diseases and die early: their children born weak. No medicines prescribed by the doctors can save them. This problem becomes more and more serious with every passing day. The modern way of life, when people do little physical activity, use cars instead of walking, watch TV for many hours and work on computers is turning them into "legless creatures."


T: Group A, translate the last sentence into Russian.

T: Group B, write at least 4 things Modern Man must do to survive. (выжить).

T: Boys and girls, I know that you've prepared a poster with your promises. Let's see it! What would you personally do to protect the environment and do our village a better place?

(учащиеся демонстрируют постер с обещаниями о том как защитить окружающую среду).

Примерные надписи:

We will plant the trees.

We will not pollute the rivers.

We will turn off the lights and water.

We will not break the trees.

We will not drop the litter in the streets.

T: Excellent, children, you are as green as grass! You mustn't drop the litter in the streets, because did you know that some litter lasts longer than us. Look at the display!

T: Boys and girls, you have done an excellent work. What have you found out today?

  1. Объяснение домашнего задания.

To find out the ecological problems of our district, village.
