Тема урока: " A city mouse or a country mouse!".

Цель урока:

Развитие языковой компетентности учащихся по теме «A city mouse or a country mouse!»

Задачи:

практические - активизировать знания, умения и навыки учащихся по теме ; учить логически строить высказывание на основе прослушанной и переработанной информации.

развивающие - развивать кругозор учащихся, творческие навыки;

воспитательные - создавать возможность для проявления индивидуальных способностей учащихся, развитие навыков к сотрудничеству;

образовательные - совершенствовать фонетические и лексические навыки, расширить словарный запас, активизировать знакомую лексику в речевых ситуациях, создать условия для спонтанной речи.

Оборудование и раздаточные материалы: мультимедийная установка, карточки с заданиями.

Тип урока:комбинированный.

Ход урока:

I. Организационный момент, проверка домашнего задания.

Teacher: Good morning. I'm very glad to see all of you today. I hope everybody is ready to work. How are you? What date is it today?

• Let`s check up your hometask(WB ex.1,2,4 p.5)(Проверка наличия д/з)

II. Введение в коммуникативную ситуацию урока

• Today we`re going to speak about different lifestyles,interview Sarah and Anabel and their lifestyles, speak about the difference between Present Simple and Present Continuous Tenses.

Аудирование

• Open your books at page SS1. Look at the pictures and the title. What do you think the song is about? (Обсуждение названия песни и иллюстраций)

• Listen and check your answers.(слушают аудиозапись ex.1 p.ss1)

Where is the best place to be according to the singer?

III. Актуализация лексики по теме. (Индивидуальные задания на карточках.)

1. Отработка фраз: don't mind, very important to me, can't stand.

Teacher: And now let`s discuss in pairs

A high quality lifestyle is very important to me.

I like fresh air and beautiful landscapes. I feel

happy and relaxed. I think I'm a country mouse.

Shops, cinemas and theatres are very important to

me, but I can't stand constant heavy traffic. It

makes me feel worried. I think I'm a country

mouse.

I'm a city mouse. Convenient public transport and

crowded streets are very important to me. Then I

feel free and confident.

T: The best place to live is different for everyone, so

it's important for people to find a place that suits

them.

(Everything should have a place to be stored in and

it should be put there when not in use.)

• An Englishman's home is his castle. (English people

feel safe and protected in their homes. They are

also proud of their homes).

VI.Развитие грамматических навыков

• Look at the text again now. Find,please, the sentences:

• В каком времени стоят глаголы в предложениях?

Present Continuous / Present Simple.

На доске текст с предложениями. Учащимся предлагается прочитать предложения , распознать время и объяснить его употребление в предложении.

• Explain the use of the verbs in the following sentences:

I watch the news on television every night. (привычка, повседневное действие)

I am watching the news on channel 4 at the moment.( действие, происходящее сейчас, в момент речи)

I am watching the film with Jason tonight.( запланированное действие в бу -

дущем)
