Цели урока:



Образовательная: способствование расширению общего и страноведческого кругозора учащихся, углубление знания учащихся о Великобритании; закрепление грамматического материала The Articles



Развивающая: Развитие мышление, слуховой контроль, зрительную память и воображение; развитие умение воспринимать информацию на слух и определять последовательность ключевых событий; развитие навыков диалогической речи; Развитие навыков монологического высказывания по теме.



ТИП УРОКА: урок обобщения и систематизации

ФОРМА УРОКА: индивидуальная, групповая, хоровая

ВИДЫ РЕЧЕВОЙ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТИ: монологическая подготовленная речь, диалогическая речь, аудирование.





Оснащение: карта Великобритании, ноутбук, флаги Великобритании, текст с пропущенными словами, на доске картинки с достопримечательностями, символами Англии, Презентации Power Point



Ход урока



  1. Организационный момент Приветствие

Учитель приветствует учащихся и кратко

сообщает им, чем они будут заниматься на уроке.

Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls!

Class: Good morning, teacher!

Teacher: Sit down, please. Today we have an unusual

lesson. Today we continue to speak about Britain and

you'll know more interesting information about this

beautiful country.

P: The largest cities of Great Britain are London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffiield, Bristol, Leeds, and Edinburgh.

P: The Queen.

T: What`s her name? P: Her name is Elizabeth II

Р1: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (the UK) is the official name of the state which is situated in the British Isles? "Great Britain" is often the same as "Britain", or "the United Kingdom", It consists of four countries which are England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. You can see them on the map. Their capitals are London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast. The UK is an island state. The two main islands are Great Britain (where England, Scotland and Wales are situated) and Ireland. Northern Ireland and the independent Irish Republic are there.

The UK is separated from the continent by the English Channel and the Strait of Dover. The UK is also washed by the Atlantic Ocean in the north and the North Sea in the east.

P2: Everyone who was born in Britain is British. People from England are English. People from Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland are not English. They are Scottish or the Scotts; Welsh and Irish. People from Scotland and Wales don't like it when they are called English.

More than 56 million people live in Britain. Many of them live in big industrial cities like London. (Презентация 1, слайд 5) Manchester and Liverpool, for example, are big industrial cities in the centre of England. But foreigners are often surprised by the fact that much of land in Britain is open country.

Everyone in Britain speaks English. But in some parts of Scotland and Wales people speak different languages as well. The Welsh are especially proud of their language.

Р3; Great Britain is a parliamentary monarchy. There are two heads in the country. One is the Queen, and the other is the Parliament. Almost all the power belongs to the Parliament, as the Queen is only a formal ruler of the country. In other words, Queen Elizabeth II is the head of the state but the Parliament has the supreme authority. The Queen has also a number of ministers, who bear the responsibility for her royal acts. An interesting fact is that Great Britain doesn't have any written constitution, but has only a set of laws made by the Parliament. Official residence of the Queen is Buckingham Palace, in London. However, she has also some other residences in Britain. The Parliament has two chambers: the House of Lords and the House of commons. The most important and powerful one is the House of Commons, which contains of 650 members. . The House of Lords consists of nearly 1200 peers. The head of the House of Lords is the Lord Chancellor. This House has no real power but has the responsibility to be an advisory council. The interesting fact about the House of Lords is that it's a hereditary chamber.

8. Грамматический материал: The Article

A - indefinite article ( not a specific object, one of a number of the same object) with consonant

Eric has a dog. Gregory works in a factory.

An - indefinite article ( not a specific object, one of a number of the same object) with vowels (a, e, i, o, u)

Can I have an apple? Donata is an English teacher.

The - definite article ( a specific object that both the person speaking and the listener know)

The car over there is fast.

The first time you speak of something use " a "or "an", the next time you repeat that object use "the".

I live in a house. The house is quite old and has two bedrooms.

Do not use an article with countries, states, counties, or provinces, lakes and mountains except when the country is a collection of states such as " the United States"

My uncle lives in Bristol.

Do not use an article when you are speaking about meals, places and transports.

He has breakfast at home. I go to university. Magda comes to work by taxi.

Use an article with bodies of water, oceans and seas. I live on a small island in the Baltic Sea.

2. Аудирование по теме: You will hear some sentences about most famous sights of London. Please, write down the names of these sights.(учащиеся садятся за компьютеры, на которых заранее приготовлен список достопримечательностей, слушают запись и ставят номер прозвучавшего текста напротив выбранной ими достопримечательности)

Рефлексия «Квадрат».

Цель: проверить уровень усвоения материала, умение анализировать деятельность. Квадрат делится по диагонали на 4 части. У каждого ученика свой квадрат. Анализируются 4 основных этапа урока :

1Listening 2 Grammar 3 Speaking 4 The dialogue

Если понял и выполнил все - заштриховывается весь треугольник. Если понял и выполнил не все - заштриховывается частично.

Учитель подводит итог урока, сообщает оценки, выставленные с учетом работы на каждом этапе урока.

Учащиеся соотносят свою картинку с оценкой, полученной на уроке. В результате учащиеся, видя свои пробелы, обсуждают с учителем, что нужно доработать.
