Ход урока

1. Warming-up activity.

Учитель:Good morning boys and girls!I'm very glad to see you. Take your sits!

Учитель: What season is it now? What's the weather like today? What clothes do you wear in such weather? (Выслушивает ответы обучающихся.)

1.Guessing the theme of the lesson.

Учитель: Look at the screen! (Слайд 1) Here is a puzzle for you . Name all the words in the pictures, take only the first letter of each word and you will read the theme of today's lesson.

For example, "cap" - letter "C". And now can you say me the theme of our lesson?

Right - Celebrations.

Обучающиеся называют слова, записывают себе только первую букву каждого слова, и из этих букв складывают новое слово. Это и будет тема урока "Celebrations". Обучающиеся называют тему урока. (Слайд 2).

Учитель: What are the goals of our lesson? What are we going to do?

Обучающиеся формулируют цели урока.

- read and understand about celebrations;

- listen and understand about celebrations;

- talk about celebrations.

II. Follow up:

1. New Vocabulary.

Учитель: There are new words and word expressions for you. Look at the screen and repeat after me. (Слайд 3).

Учитель:And now,match phrases to the pictures. (Приложение 1)

Обучающиеся повторяют новые слова и словосочетания за учителем, а затем соотносят новые слова с картинками.

Учитель: Well,think of popular celebrations in our country and name them.

Обучающиеся называют праздники в России, а учитель вешает таблички с их названиями на доске.

(New Year, Christmas, Victory Day, Easter, Women's Day, Shrovetide, Day of the Defender of the Motherland, Labor Day, Children's Day, Independence Day of Russia, Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, Day of Knowledge, Day of National Unity) (Приложение 2)

Учитель: Right you are.The next task is for you,now divide into 3 groups and choose one celebration and speak about it.Using a new words and word expressions.( Слайд 3).

What celebration will you speak about? (SB ex. 1 p. 96)

Каждая группа рассказывает, что они делают в разные праздники, используя новую лексику. Другие группы проверяют правильность выполнения. Учитель оценивает обучающихся.

f.ex.On , Shrovetide we dress up.

We also Light bonfires.

2.Relaxation

Учитель: Are you tired? I think it's time to relax.

We are running, (бег на месте)

We are jumping, (прыгаем на месте)

Trying sky to get. (поднимаемся на носочки, руки вверх)

We are skipping, (перескакиваем с ноги на ногу на месте)

Trying sky to get. (поднимаемся на носочки, руки вверх)

We are flying like a real jet. (руки в стороны, показывая самолёт)

We are hopping, (прыгаем на месте на одной ноге потом на другой)

We are climbing (как будто карабкаемся вверх)

Like a funny cat. (рисуем в воздухе усы как у кота)

Учащиеся выполняют физ. разминку под руководством одного учащегося. Учитель оценивает работу учащихся.

3.Listening and reading.

Учитель: Look at the title of the text, read it, say some words after me. Read the first sentence in each paragraph. What do you expect to read?

Обучающиеся повторяют новые слова за учителем, читают заголовок текста, первые предложения в каждом абзаце и предполагают, о чем будет текст. (SB ex. 2b p. 96)

Учитель: Maybe you are right. Complete the gaps.You can see a shit of papars, here you can complete the gaps. Ready? Now listen and check. .( Слайд 4).

Обучающиеся заполняют пропуски, затем слушают и проверяют, осуществляя самопроверку.

4.Speaking.

Учитель: Well, I want to know if you remember new words. Underline the correct word. I'll give you some minuters.Your time is up,now change with your papers, and check them..(Приложение3)

Обучающиеся выполняют задание, выбирая правильное слово. Затем они осуществляют взаимопроверку. Учитель оценивает обучающихся. .( Слайд 5).

5.Homework.

Учитель: Your homework is Ex. 9, p.97. Think of a celebration in our country. Complete a fact file about it.

Учащиеся записывают домашнее задание в дневниках.

3. Rounding-off.

Рефлексия

Учитель: Our lesson is going to be over. What have you learnt on our lesson? Thank you for the lesson , you worked well today.

Учитель оценивает работу учащихся.
