Конспект урока в 5 классе на тему «Talking about school clubs»,

УМК Биболетова М.З.

Цель: повторить правила образования степеней сравнения прилагательных; способствовать формированию УУД на основе изучения темы «Школьные клубы».

Задачи:

  • научить понимать на слух небольшой диалог;

  • Соотносить картинку с данными описаниями;

  • Обобщить правила образования степеней сравнения прилагательных;

  • Научить высказывать свое мнение и отвечать на вопросы учителя.

Ход урока:

I. Проверка ДЗ

  • Open your books at p.43, ex. 10. One of you read the sentence and the others should compare their results.

  • What was the rule in the home task? How is it called in English? How are the degrees of comparison formed? What suffix does the comparative degree have? (superlative degree?)

II. Повторение образования степеней сравнения прилагательных

  • So, there are some adjectives in front of you. You should form the degrees of comparison and in the end of the task you are to change your copybook with your classmate and find out how many mistakes he or she has. One of you will do it on the blackboard, try not to copy it.

(hot, short, dark, blue, interesting, famous, long, good, large, bad, tall, fat)

III. Постановка темы урока

  • What do pupils do at school after classes? What is a school club? Do we have such clubs at school? Have you ever visited one of the clubs? Why/Why not?

  • Look at the screen. What can you see? Can you describe all these pictures? What is common?

  • Who can tell me the theme of our lesson? What will we talk about? Of course, we're going to speak about school clubs. First of all, let's listen to Dima. He is a pupil and after listening you are to tell me what he usually does after school.

  • What does Dima want to do after his classes? Do you want to do the same? Is it necessary to attend school clubs?

IV. Работа в парах, развитие диалогической речи

p. 30, ex. 94.

  • Try to make up a dialogue with your partner and act it out. You have 5 minutes to do it. (прослушивание 2-3 диалогов на уроке, остальные после урока)

V. Физминутка

  • Are you tired? I have a great idea, let's dance a little. You'll watch the video and you are to repeat all his moves. So, let's go. (просмотр видео Ants in your pants)

VI. Развитие умений чтения и понимания прочитанного

p. 30, ex. 95

  • There you can see some pictures and the descriptions of school clubs. Try to read the description of the club and compare it with the correct picture. You have 2 minutes to do it and then we'll check it.

  • Good job! I'm proud of you. Another task for you is on the screen. WHAT CLUB IS IT? Give it a name.

VI. Упражнение на закрепление пройденного материала

p.32, ex.98

  • Match clubs' symbols with the clubs ( 1. Singing club, 2. Tennis club, 3. Drama club, 4. Traveller's club, 5. Music club)

VII. Домашнее задание

  • I'll give you a card with 2 tasks. In the 1st task you should match 2 columns; in the 2nd task you are to write some words about you favourite school club. This card you must stick into your copybooks and tomorrow we'll check it.

VII. Рефлексия

  • What have you learnt about school clubs? Do you find this information useful? Who can summarize all the information about school clubs? Can you tell me that you are good at this theme? Why is it so?
