Внеклассное школьное мероприятие по английскому языку для учащихся 5-7 классов

«Halloween»

Подготовила учитель английского языка: Михайленко А.С.

Цель: обобщение изученного материала по теме «Хэллоуин»; актуализация лексических и грамматических навыков; поддержание интереса к изучению английского языка.

Задачи:

• Образовательные:

  • познакомить учащихся с историей праздника, с обычаями и традициями празднования дня в англоязычных странах, с символикой праздника;

  • познакомить с методикой проведения конкурсов, игр, викторин, которые можно провести в рамках празднования этого дня в классе, в школе;

  • способствовать улучшению качества подготовки учащихся к экзамену по дисциплине.

• Развивающие:

  • прививать интерес к иноязычной культуре, развивать интерес к предмету;

  • расширять кругозор учащихся;

  • совершенствовать навыки сценического поведения, способствовать преодолению скованности и неуверенности;

  • развивать культуру публичного выступления;

  • совершенствовать дикцию учащихся.

• Воспитывающие:

  • способствовать воспитанию у учащихся уважения к носителям иноязычной культуры;

  • развивать учащихся эстетически.

Внеклассное мероприятие разработано с применением ИКТ. В разработке презентации были использованы фрагменты цифрового образовательного ресурса «Интернет». В зале должны быть расставлены тыквы с вырезанными глазами и ртом, а внутри - свечки.

Оборудование: тыквы, музыка, плакаты, костюмы, мультимедиа, свет, 2 чашки с водой и яблоки, клей, ножницы, нитки.

Good evening dear guests! I am glad to see you!

Вдруг в зале гаснет свет, и загораются фонари из тыквы. По очереди выходит нечисть: приведения, мумии, скелеты, ведьмы, монстры (слайд 2).

Ведущий:

The witches fly
Across the sky,
The owls go, "Who? Who? Who?"
The black cats yowl
And green ghosts howl
"Scary Halloween to you!"
Появляется Повелитель Мира Мертвых (слайд 3): Сегодня День Всех Святых, на кануне этого дня ненадолго открылись врата между Миром Живых и Миром Мертвых. И вот теперь вы здесь, в Мире Мертвых. А, вы не знаете, что такое Хэллоуин? Тогда послушайте моих помощников. Они вам все объяснят.

Приведение:
Halloween is a festival that takes place on October 31. Halloween means "hallowed evening" or "holy eve". The holiday which comes right after is All Saints` Day. So Halloween as we know it today is just the evening before All Saints` Day (which is celebrated on the 1^st of November). (слайд 3)
Хэллоуин - праздник, который отмечается 31 октября. Хэллоуин означает святой вечер. Праздник, который наступает после Хэллоуина - День всех святых, празднуется 1 ноября.
Скелет (слайд 4):
Halloween was first celebrated many centuries ago by Celtic priests called Druids. They thought that Halloween was the night when the witches came out. As they were afraid of the witches they put on different clothes and painted their faces to deceive the evil spirits.
Впервые Хэллоуин праздновали много лет назад кельтские священники, друиды. Они считали, что Хэллоуин - ночь, когда выходили ведьмы. И так как они боялись ведьм, они наряжались в разную одежду и раскрашивали свои лица, чтобы обмануть злых духов.
Ведьма (слайд 5):
Fortunetelling is an important part of Halloween. For example, a coin, a ring, and a thimble were baked into a cake. It was believed that the person who found the coin would become wealthy. The one who found the ring would marry soon. And the person who found the thimble would never get married.
Гадание на Хэллоуин - это важная часть Хэллоуина. Например, монету, кольцо и наперсток запекают в пирог. Считалось, что тот, кто найдет кольцо, скоро женится или выйдет замуж. Тот, кто найдет монету, разбогатеет. А тот, кто найдет наперсток, никогда не женится или не выйдет замуж.
Монстр (слайд 6):
On Halloween children dress in costumes and masks of witches, goblins or skeletons and go trick -or - treating. They ring doorbells and ask for candy, apples, or coins. If they don't receive a treat, they may play a trick.
На Хэллоуин дети наряжаются в костюмы и маски ведьм, гоблинов или скелетов и попрошайничают. Они звонят в дверь и спрашивают сладости, яблоки или монеты. Если их не угощают, то они могут подшутить.
People also placed food and small gifts near the doors of their houses for the witches. А около дверей домов оставляли пищу и маленькие подарки для ведьм.

Мумия (слайд 7):

According to an Irish legend, jack-o'-lanterns were named for a man called Jack who was famous for his drunkenness & being stingy. He played a joke on the Devil, that's why he could enter neither heaven nor hell, & only a live coal in a turnip lit his way out of the darkness.

Вампир (слайд 8):

В Ирландии существует легенда о Джеке О'Лэнтерне, который вел разгульную жизнь и любил играть в карты. Однажды он решил сыграть в карты с дьяволом. Выбрав момент, сатана превратился в монету, которую Джек увидел и положил в карман, где лежал освященный крестик. Дьявол был бессилен перед силой креста, и Джек выиграл у него. А когда Джек умер, то его не пустили ни в ад, ни в рай. Он был в отчаянии, и лишь выпросил у дьявола несколько горящих углей, которые он положил в репу, чтобы освещать себе дорогу в темноте. Отсюда пошел обычай вырезать тыквы в этот день, которые называются jack-o'-lantern's.

Мумия:

People make jack-o'-lanterns. They cut eyes, a nose and a mouth in the pumpkin and put candles into it. So the pumpkin looks like a face.

Ведущий:

Да, интересная история… но мы тоже, как и Джек обманем властителя тьмы и выберемся из Мира Мертвых.

Повелитель Мира Мертвых: Ну, хорошо, попробуйте. Но сначала вы должны выполнить все мои задания и собрать ключ-заклинание. Вы готовы?

A witch is making a spell. She needs six things to put in her spell. There are six rooms in this haunted house. Each room has one thing that the witch needs. Read and listen to the clue for each room.

Can you find what the witch needs? Click on it, and you will get a surprise! Find one thing in each of the six rooms.

1. You need my skin for your spell. I am long and thin. I don't have any legs. I move on my tummy. I have two big teeth called fangs. I am dangerous. Be very careful! I live in a bread bin. Can you find me? (snake)

Повелитель Мира Мертвых: Make a Scary Skeleton.

Cut out the parts of the skeleton. Stick the parts on card to make them stronger. Make a hole in each piece of card. Use paper fasteners to put the skeleton together (слайд 15).

Затем дети произносят заклинание:

Это заклинание по строчкам делится и каждую строчку учащиеся получают после выполнения каждого задания, постепенно собирая все заклинание.

В зале загорается свет.

Ведущий: Ну, вот и закончилось наше приключение, и наш праздник подходит к концу.
