Конспект урока по теме: My School в 5 классе по УМК " Enjoy English"

Цели урока:

  1. Закрепить лексические единицы по теме "My school" и научить учащихся употреблять их в самостоятельных высказываниях.

  2. Развитие слухо-произносительных и ритмико-интонационных навыков

  3. Активизация раннее изученного грамматического материала (Present Simple, Past Simple, Future Simple).

  4. Воспитание уважительного отношения к традициям страны изучаемого языка, а так же к своей школе.


Ход урока


I. Оргмомент.


Good morning, boys and girls!


I'm glad to see you, sit down, please.


What is the date today?


What is the day today?


Who is absent today?


So, today we will speak about our school, about our subjects and about our studying.


II. Фонетическая зарядка.


Let's start with a short poem:


Biology and Chemistry,

Geography and History,

English and Spanish,

Music and Art,

We study at school,

That's great and cool!


Listen and repeat line by line;


Find the words with the sounds: [јu:], [æ], [k], [aI], [u], [Λ], [a:], [eI];


Learn the poem by heart.


III. Основная часть урока.


Task 1. "Spiel-Prinzip"


На доске размещены 40 карточек со словами на обратной стороне, английские и русские слова по парам.

Карточки пронумерованы. Дети называют по два числительных, учитель показывает слова.

Если они совпадают, эти числа больше не называются. Игра заканчивается тогда, когда все слова совпадут

Task 2. "Pictures of school life".


Look at the blackboard. Describe the pictures using the appropriate adverbs: (см. Приложение 3)


e.g. Tomorrow I will study English.


Yesterday she read the book.


He does homework every day.


Task 3. "Martin's timetable" p. 8, Ex. 6

Find and read out the subjects you have in your timetable;

Read out the subjects you don't have in your timetable;

Answer some questions:

When do you have Science?

When do you have Maths?

When do you English Literature?

When do you a break?

How many lessons do you have on Monday?

How many lessons do you have on Wednesday?

How many lessons do you have on Friday?

When do you first lesson?

When do you last lesson?

When do you study?

Task 4. "Subjects"


Listen to the descriptions of the subjects and tick in the table:


Literature

History

English

Information Technology

Maths

Art

Science

Physical Education


At this subject you can learn how to use computer. (IT)

At this subject you can run, jump, play football or tennis. (PE)

At this subject you can study nature and do some experiments. (Science)

At this subject you can paint your favourite pictures. (Art)

At this subject you can read stories, novels and poems. (Literature)

At this subject you can travel from our days to 2nd, 3rd or 12th centuries.(History)

At this subject you can count and write figures. (Maths)

At this subject you can learn to speak, to read, to write in foreign language. (English)


Task 5. "Categorizing"


Read the words and divide them into 6 categories:

Summer holidays, ruler, timetable, dairy, History, break, dialogue, Literature, book, teacher, chair, pupil, Science, Easter holidays, rubber, Christmas holidays, Mathematics, desk, blackboard, text.

Task 6. Dialogue p. 9, Ex. 8


Put the phrases in the right order, make up the dialogue, read:


- We usually sing, dance. Sometimes we act out short plays. (4)


- Do you have any subjects this year? (1)


- Oh, it should be very interesting! (5)


- Oh, Drama? What do you do at Drama lessons? (3)


- Yes, we do. We have Science, Information Technology and Drama. (2)


Complete this dialogue with some your own phrases and act it out.


Task 7. "My school" p. 8, Ex.7


Look at the pictures, describe your school life in some sentences according the scheme (см. Приложение 4): (Может быть использован метод коллективного рассказа)


e.g. P1: I like to go to school every day.


P2: I have a lot of classmates.


P3: My classmates are very smart and kind.


P4: In our school we wear uniform.


P5: It is white shirt and grey suit…


IV. Подведение итогов урока.


So, today we've learnt to use the words about school in our own speech.
