RUSSIA

We live in Russia.

It is one of the largest countries in the world.

Russia is washed by twelve seas and three oceans: the Atlantic ocean, the Pacific ocean and the Arctic ocean. The seas are: the Black Sea, the White Sea, the Asov Sea, the Baltic Sea, the Barents Sea, the Laptev Sea and many others.

There are many rivers and lakes in Russia. The longest rivers are the Volga, the Enisey, the Lena, the Amur, the Ob.

The deepest lakes are the Baikal and the Ladoga.

Russian nature is very beautiful. There are many high mountains and hills, great forests and fields in my country.

Moscow is the capital of Russia. It is a very old and beautiful city. Moscow was founded by Prince Yuri Dolgoruky in 1147. There are many historical buildings and modern houses in Moscow. There are many theatres, cinemas, museums and monuments in Moscow.

I like to go to the Kremlin and Red Square, because in these places we always think about our history.

I am proud of Moscow and of my country.
