Тема урока: «The job for you».

Тип урока: урок промежуточного закрепления знаний.

Цели:

Развивающий аспект - развитие самостоятельности, креативности, воображения, способности осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия.

Учебный аспект - совершенствование навыков диалогической и монологической речи, лексических и грамматических навыков, а также навыков аудирования.

Воспитательный аспект - развивать у учащихся самостоятельность мышления, содействовать профориентации учащихся, формировать потребности в практическом использовании языка.

Место урока в цикле: урок обобщения знаний.

Аспекты языка: лексика - названия профессий, качества, требуемые при выполнении какой-либо работы.

Грамматика: условные предложения I и II типа.

Виды речевой деятельности: говорение, чтение и аудирование.

Режим работы: фронтальный, в парах, групповой.

Оборудование урока: доска, мультимедийное оборудование (проектор, интерактивная доска), карточки.



Ход урока.

I. Организационный момент.

-- Good morning, girls and boys!

-- Glad to see you. (We are glad to see you, too.)

-- How are you all today? (We are fine, thank you. How are you?)

-- I'm fine, thanks.

-- Беседа о погоде, о хобби, дети называют число и день недели.

II. Сообщение целей урока. Речевая разминка.

1. What kind of summer jobs are there for teenagers in Kalmykia?

2. What will you do if it is summer?

3. Will you look for a summer job?

4. Will the job be interesting?

5. How much will you earn?

6. Will this job require any special skills?

How do you think what will we speak about?

-- We will speak about summer jobs.

-- We are going to talk about your strong and weak points about the jobs.

-- We are going to revise our grammar material and words.

T- First of all let's divide into 2 groups and you'll compete.

  1. Фонетическая зарядка.

На доске - стихотворение "I want to be". Учащиеся должны прослушать, прочитать и перевести стихотворение.

T- But firstly will prepare our tongues for speaking English. Look at the screen and repeat:

I usually answer, "I don't know,"
But it isn't really so.
I want to win аn Olympic race,
I want to see the Earth from space,
I want to travel to Katmandu

I want to bе very clever and wise,
I want to win the Nobel prize,
But most of all, I want to bе
Healthy, strong and nice.

IV. Активизация лексики в речи.

T- For getting a job you must have some qualities. Let's revise them. Do the crossword puzzle, please.

1. Someone who is friendly to visitors.

2. Someone who can be trusted.

3. Someone who can change easily to suit any new situation.

4. Someone who is very imaginative and good at making things.

5. Someone who is good-looking.

6. Someone who wants to be more successful than other .

7. Someone who is good at thinking of new, interesting ideas.

T- Now, tell me what qualities from this list do you have?

V. Развитие навыков аудирования.

1. T - Now, listen to the information about American laws for teenagers and fill in the table.

  1. Физминутка.

Exercises for eyes.
1. Blink quickly! Close your eyes! Sit still, count slowly from1 to 5.( 4-5- times)
2. Close your eyes, counting from 1 to 3! Open your eyes and look into the distance, counting from 1 to 5 . ( 4-5 times)
3. Stretch your arm forward! Follow the movements of your forefinger to the left and to the right, up and down without turning your head! ( 4-5 times)
4. Look at your forefinger, stretched forward counting from 1 to 4, then look into the distance, counting from 1 to 6.( 4-5 times)
5. Make 3-4 circular motions with your eyes to the right and to the left at a moderate pace. Relax your eyes- muscles. Look into the distance counting from 1 to 6. ( 1-2 times)

2. Put the verbs in brackets in the right form.

T- Let's read the text and find out some information about British rules and regulations on teenage work.

Ex. 4, p. 57(WB)

T - Now answer the following questions:

1. From what age British teenagers are allowed to work?

2. What time can they work?

3. What kind of jobs can they do?

4. How much money do teenagers earn for working?

T - Well, children, will you sum up what we talked about? Work in groups.

Compare Russian, American and British labor laws for teenagers.
