Cinderella.

Once upon a time there lived a man. His first wife died, and he married again. But his new wife was very cruel, she loved only her own daughters and hated her stepdaughter very mach. Her name was Cinderella, because she did all dirty and heavy work, cleaned the room, washed the dishes, prepared dinner, used the stove she didn't sleep much. She worked only and didn't rest.

One day the king's son decided to have a grand ball. Cinderella's stepmother was one of the first to hear about it:

Гонец: Listen to me! Listen to me! Tomorrow will be a great party at the king's palace. Welcome to our ball! Please, take the invitation!

Мачеха: My daughters! Come to me! Come to me! Do you see it? We are invited to the king's palace. The king invites you to a ball, where his son, the prince will choose a lady to be his wife.

1 дочь: Oh, mother, read it mother quickly.

Мачеха: Yes. The king invites you to the ball, where his son, the prince will choose a lady to be his wife.

2 дочь: Oh, I am happy. Will choose a lady to be his wife? Will he choose me?

1 дочь: Or me, mother?

Мачеха: I am sure, that he will choose one of you! You are both so beautiful. My daughters, we must try on our dresses. Cinderella, come here!

2 дочь: Where are you?

Мачеха: What have you done?

Золушка: I have cleaned your room!

Мачеха: Stop cleaning the room. You must prepare clothes for us. Did you understand? We are invited to the ball.

Золушка: Mother, sisters, please take me with you!

Мачеха: You want to go to the ball, don`t you? Do you think the prince will choose you for his wife?

2 дочь: You are dirty, Cinderella, to go there.

Мачеха: My daughters, we let's try on our dresses. Cinderella, come here. Cinderella, brush my hair.

1 дочь: Help me to put on my hat!

2 дочь: Cinderella, bring me my hat too!

Мачеха: And hurry, hurry, quickly! The coach will be here in a minute. Cinderella, come here. So we are going to the ball, but you must do much work: water the flowers, clean the room, sweep the floor, prepare supper. Did you understand?

Золушка: Yes, did. I`ll do it!

Мачеха: My daughters, go to the ball.

Золушка: I am very glad to see you! I have so much work to do. My stepmother and sisters went to the ball to the king`s palace. I`d like to go to the party!

Фея: I`ll help you, Cinderella. Take this nice dress.

Золушка: Thank you! Thank you! But what about my shoes!

Фея: Take these shoes! Do you like there shoes?

Золушка: Oh, how wonderful they are!

Фея: Not at all. My dear girl, you must remember, that my magic is true only to twelve o`clock. At that time you must be at home. Remember my words, please!

Золушка: That`s right.

Автор: Cinderella jumped into the coach and drove to the palace.

Принц: Who is this nice girl?

Король: I don`t know!

Принц: I am very glad to see you in my palace! I`d like to dance with you!

Мачеха: Who is this nice lady?

1 дочь: I don`t know! How beautiful she is!

Король: Music! Music!

Танец принца с Золушкой

Принц: You dance very well.

Золушка: It`s a great compliment for me, dear prince!

Принц: You look very tired! I`ll bring you a glass of wine! (an ice-cream!)

12 o`clock!

Золушка: I must go! Oh my slipper! I`ve lost it! Bust I`m in a hurry!

Принц: Who was that beautiful girl? I loved her.

Король: I don`t know! We must search the palace! Page! Search the palace for the girl!

Паж: Yes, my majesty!

Король: Give me the slipper! We shall find the girl! Send me the messenger! Take it! The prince will marry the one, whom it fits. You must find this girl!

Гонец: Yes, my majesty! I`ll find the slipper and that charming young lady!

Автор: The prince was very sad and ball was ended.

Автор: And every unmarried lady in the land tried on this slipper. It was the ugly sister`s turn.

Гонец: Will you try on this shoe?

Мачеха: Thank you! Come along, daughters! Put on this slipper!

2 дочь: May I try on this slipper!

Мачеха: Let me help you, my love.

2 дочь: Poor me! I can`t get it on!

1 дочь: It`s too small!

Мачеха: Take your slipper! It`s too small to wear!

Гонец: Have you anybody in your house?

Мачеха: Cinderella, come here! She is a kitchen-maid!

Гонец: Please try on this shoe!

Мачеха: All right, let her get the slipper on the clumsy foot! Do you think the prince will choose you for his wife! Oh, Cinderella!

Гонец: Be ready to go to the king`s palace! Prince wants to see you!

Автор: The coach was at the door! And Cinderella drove up to the palace. The prince was happy to see her. They married and lived happily for along time.
