2. Развивать навыки говорения, аудирования, чтения; развивать умение вести беседы на изучаемом языке, а так же делать монологическое высказываниею

3. Воспитывать интерес к изучению иностранного языка.

In your last letter you asked me to write a few words about the discovery of my country.

Well, as you know,George Washington discovered America in 1942. I don't know much

about this man. He was born in Spain but lived in Russia. He was a tailor and made a lot of

sea clothes. Once the King and the Queen of Russia gave him money to sail to Great Britain.

After sailing 4000 miles he reached some land. Washington thought that it must be Great

Britain but it was a new continent, America.

Now I really think I'm finishing. Sorry for such a long letter.
