My House

Hi! I am……….. . I'm ……………… . I live in Kamenolomny, Postov region. My address is …………………… .I live with my mother and my father. We keep a …………… I like to look after him well. I will tell you about how we live in our house. I like my house. There are 3 rooms and a bathroom, a toilet and a hall. I like my room because it is cozy and light. I have a bookcase (where I keep my books), a bed, a carpet on the floor, a window, a wardrobe ( where I put my clothes), a desk (where I do my homework) and a chair, but I haven't a sofa. I like my room because when my friends come to see me we play computer games, read books, and talk there.

My summer holidays

There are four seasons in a year: winter, spring, summer and autumn. Summer is my favourite season. June, July and August are summer months. When summer comes, the weather gets warmer and sometimes it can be very hot. In summer people spend much time in the open. They find time to go to the forest or to swim in the river. Schoolchildren like their summer holidays. I want to tell you about my summer holidays. I like spending my holiday with my family. In June I helped my parents about the house. I cleaned the house, looked after my pet, went shopping with my mother. When I had free time, I rode a bicycle, watched TV, went to the Internet and walked with my friends. At the weekend My family and I visited the park. We went boating, roller-skated and went on rides. I enjoyed our walking. In July we went to the village. There my grandparents live. I helped my grandparents in the garden. In the morning I and my father went fishing and we caught a huge fish. It was fantastic. As the weather was fine, we swam in the river, rode a horse. We had a lot of fun. In August we like to travel. Every year we go to the Black sea. We went to different places. We swam in the sea, sunbathed. We bought gifts for our friends. I will never forget my summer holidays.

My working day

Hello. I'm ……………... I live in Kamenolomny. I get up at 8 o'clock on week days. I brush my teeth, wash and get dressed. Then I have breakfast. I tidy the room and I go to the musical school (the swimming pool) at a quarter to ten. I have lunch at one o'clock and go to school. Lessons finish at five o'clock. I get home at six o'clock. Then I do my homework. I watch TV, play computer games and then go out with my friends. I sometimes visit my friends before my dinner. I have dinner at seven o'clock. I listen to music, read books and then I go to bed.

English speaking countries

It is necessary to learn foreign languages. That's why pupils have got such a subject as a foreign language at school. I learn English at school too. I think that English is the most popular language nowadays. People all over the world speak English for example: in Russia and France, in Germany and Italy and so on. English is the official language in such countries as: G.B, New Zealand, the USA, Canada and Australia. But their language is different. People can speak American English and British English. The difference is in the meaning of the words, for example: In England they say flat, sweets, autumn but in America they say apartment, cookies, fall.

I learn English, because I want to read foreign literature in the original. I know and like such English and American writers as Charles Dickens, Mark Twain. I like to travel. If I know the language of the country and I want to ask something, I can do it in English.

There are a lot of films in foreign languages. If you know English, I can understand films without any help.

To sum up, I try to learn English in a proper way.
