Нестандартный урок « Не своя игра» в 7 классе

Цель: Обобщить знания, полученные по темам «Великобритания». «Москва»

Задачи: 1. Практиковать учащихся в говорении.

2. Обобщить грамматические навыки.

3. Тренировать учащихся в чтении

Учебные пособия: страноведческий материал - карта, картины, тесты, достопримечательности Лондона, Москвы, карточки с цифрами, аудиозапись,

Ход урока:

Вступительное слово учителя: Dear boys and girls, today we'll have unusual lesson - the game "Not-my- game" where you will show your knowledge about the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, grammatical skills, stock of vocabulary. The game will take place in 4 nominations:

1. The United Kingdom

2. Grammar

3. Moscow Each nomination will have 10,20,30,40, points

4. Traveling

10 points The UK - Countries of the UK (names)

Gr. - Make up the sentence: Billy was sleeping when his father came home from his work. (cutting)

M. - What is the name of the tower where the Kurants is?

Tr. - Name all kinds of travelling.

20 points: The UK - What is the Westminster Abbey famous for?

Gr. - Ask the question to the underline words: London is situated on the banks of the Thames river.

M. - Answer the question: When was Moscow founded ?

Tr. - What is more comfortable - to travel by plane or by train and

why?

30 points: The UK - What is the difference between Great Britain and the UK?

Gr. - Ask questions to this phrase: In 1777 Robert Burns moved to

another town.

M. - Tell about the oldest Moscow university.

Tr. - Correct the story: I like to travel by car, because I don't spend a lot of time moving from one place to another. It is interesting to travel by plane because I don't buy tickets, I can take all things I need and can stop when and where I wish.

40 points: The UK. - Draw the scheme of governing of the UK.

Gr. - Complete the sentences with the verbs in brackets in correct

forms:

I (receive) just a letter from my friend Nick. He (visit) a number of

museums in Samara. Now he ( fly) to Karelia. He (point) some pictures of

those places.

M. - Choose sentences about Moscow:

It is a very big city. There are about 12 million inhabitants. It is famous for it's skyscrapers. It is a port of 5 seas. It is situated on the banks of the Potomac river. In the center there is a famous clock - Big Ben. It's also famous for its theatres: Bolshoi, Mali, Satiricon. The City is the oldest part of the capital. The Capitol is in the centre of the city. There are 4 airports in the city.

Tr. - Match sentences, using the table:

Игра проводится в группах.

1 тур - Каждая группа выбирает себе номинацию и количество баллов

2 тур - команды выбирают вопросы длясоперников

Подсчет баллов ведется сразу на отдельном стенде. (Лаборант, рейтинговая таблица)

Итогом урока является оценочный плакат - баллы….. оценки

В течение самостоятельных работ звучат английские песни (пиано)
