The aim: To summarize pupils' knowledge of adverbs much\many, little\few, some/any.

The tasks of the lesson:

1. Educational: to practice using adverbs much\ many, little\few , some/any with the countable and uncountable nouns and to be able to differ them, to enrich pupils' vocabulary

2. Development: to develop pupils' skills and habits abilities in reading, writing, mental activities

3. Upbringing: to bring up attention and curiosity, love to the learning of the English language

Type of the lesson: a revision lesson

Method: individual, pair and group work

Equipment: cards, pictures, interactive blackboard

The procedure of the lesson

I. Organization moment

T: Good morning, guys! I am glad to see you at our lesson. Who is on duty today? Who is absent? What date is it today? What day of the week is it today? What seasons do you know? What season is it now? What spring (summer, autumn, winter) months do you know?

II. Brain storming.

Max is going to have a party. He is talking to his mum about the food they have/haven't got for the party. Let's read the conversation and complete the table with some / any , much/ many, few/ little.

Дети заполняют пропуски нужным местоимением, после озвучивают получившийся диалог.

- Let's see what we've got for the party. We have got ___cheese and ____tomatoes but we haven't got ___We have got ___bread and ___ chocolate ice- cream but we haven't got___ vanilla ice- cream.

- So, let's go and buy everything.

E Practice writing and speaking. Форма работы - групповая.

Now it's high time to make up your own dialogues. You have several pictures (food) and the pictures of fridge and shop. Your task is to glue what you have for the party on the picture of fridge and what you don't have on the picture of shop. After that you should sound what you have/ don't have for your party. Is it clear?

Детям раздаются картинки продуктов питания. Учащиеся приклеивают на картинку холодильника, что у них есть на вечеринку, а что еще нужно купить на картинку магазина. После озвучивают, что у них есть и чего нет, используя изученные местоимения.
