Тема: «Our trip to London»
Класс: 5В,6В
Задачи:
1. Развитие умений в монологической и диалогической речи; активизация изученных лексических единиц и речевых образцов.
2. Формирование умения коллективного речевого взаимодействия.
3. Воспитание культуры учащихся средствами иностранного языка.
Оборудование: презентация, аудиозапись носителей языка "How to ask for directions and give answers".
Ход занятия.
Организационный момент.
Вступительное слово.
T: I've got a piece of good news to you today.
I've looked through the school correspondence and found a letter from London's Henry
Box Comprehensive school with an invitation to visit London (учитель читает письмо).
Shall we accept or refuse an invitation? (Cлайд 2)
II. Основная часть.
1. Обсуждение с учащимися вопросов по теме "путешествие".
Т: - Are you fond of travelling?
- Why do you like to travel, I wonder?
- What way of travelling is preferable for you?
(Учащиеся по модели отвечают на вопросы.)

(Учащиеся обсуждают, какой вид путешествия до Лондона будет самым рациональным, используя модель.)

3. Защита проектов маршрутов.
(Учащимся даются модели, при помощи которых они представляют и защищают проекты своих маршрутов.)

4. Составление рекламы (учащимся предлагается составить рекламу наиболее интересных достопримечательностей Лондона, предлагается также выбрать победителей, т.е. тех учащихся у которых самая удачная реклама).

5. Просмотр фрагмента видеофильма о Лондоне.
T: You'll see a part of a film "An Enjoyable Trip to London". You should answer the question: "What differs London from all other cities?"

6. Исполнение песни.
Т: As any trip is impossible without a good song.
I suggest singing a lovely song "Yellow Submarine" by the Beetles. It will make our journey more enjoyable.
Т: Write a letter to the pupils of Henry Box Comprehensive School giving thanks for their invitation and inform them of the day of your arrival. Inform about the places you'd like to visit.
