Волгоград 2016Конкурс «The magic world of Harry Potter`s books» предназначен для учащихся 5 классов, которые прочитали книги Дж.К. Ролинг о Гарри Поттере на русском или английском языках.

Конкурс носит соревновательный характер, поэтому предполагает, что 5 классы будут поделены на команды. Главная цель конкурса - это повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка и приобщение к чтению литературы на английском языке. До проведения конкурса дети по группам получили задание составить кроссворды по книге о Гарри Поттере на английском языке. Лучшие кроссворды были использованы в конкурсе для команд-соперниц.

Мероприятие длится около 50 минут. Кроме того, ведущий кон-курса «The magic world of Harry Potter`s books» определяет самых лучших знатоков книг о Гарри Поттере и вручает им медали «I`m the best at Harry Potter Books».

В начале соревнования на экране даются фрагменты из фильмов о Гарри Поттере (около 3 минут). На стенах кабинета висят постеры и плакаты с отдельными сценами из фильмов. На столе лежат все книги о Гарри Поттере и журналы с комментариями о них, фотографии с героями из фильма.

После просмотра сюжета команды получают маршрутные листы-задания, по которым начинается их волшебное путешествие в неведомый и загадочный мир книг о Гарри Поттере.
