1. Организационный момент:

Teacher : Good morning dear boys and girls, teachers. I am glad to see you. Sit down, please. Today we have unusual lesson. Many guests have come to our lesson. I`m sure you are full of energy and ready to work hard. Now, let`s begin our lesson.

You have the lists of assessment and you should evaluate each others points. At the end of our lesson you will count your points and give your marks.

Look at the screen, please. Here you can see some group of words. Cross out the odd word and try to guess the topic of our lesson.

I`d like to give you the definition of the word "music". Music is the art of combining sounds that have rhythm, harmony and melody. So the theme of our lesson is "Music in our life. Teenagers and their idols of music"

Longfellow said- "Music is the universal language of the world".

How do you think what does it mean?

I`d like to ask you: What is music for you?

P1: I think music is beauty in sounds

P2: Music is mood

The next task is work with text in group. Look at your texts about Elvis Presley. He was very popular rock singer. First you should read this text then you should do the posters (flip charts).The first group will write the biography of Elvis Presley in the poster. The second group will write about his creation, songs. And the third group will write what is rock`n`roll? You can write like a diagram or scheme, as you want. I`ll give you 10 minutes. Then you will present it us.
