Цели урока:

- активизировать речемыслительную деятельность учащихся;

- закрепить лексический материал по теме "Экология";

- развивать навыки монологической речи;

- воспитывать нравственность у учащихся;

- прививать понимание ответственности за окружающую среду;

- расширить знания об экологической обстановке на планете.

Задачи:

Учебные:

- обучение рецептивным видам деятельности;

- формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений учащихся.

Познавательные:

-расширение эрудиции учащихся, их общего кругозора.

Воспитательные:

- формирование уважения к окружающей среде;

- воспитание интереса к проблемам экологии и нехватки питьевой воды в частности;

- формирование потребности в практическом использовании языка

1. Вступительное слово учителя.

2. Речевая разминка. Учитель загадывает загадки

3. Ученики смотрят видео на английском языке, о том, как беречь воду и отвечают на вопросы по его содержанию

4. Ученикам предлагается пройти тест на знание экологических проблем.

Teacher: Good morning everyone. How are you today? Before we start working I want you to watch a short music video and say what the song is about.

What is the main idea of the song?

Right you are. The topic of our lesson today is "Ecology". What ecological problems do you know?

Teacher: I wonder if you and our guests know how environmentally aware we are. I have a short test for you that will help us to find it out. Choose one of the variants and then we will count the points.

(Учащиеся вслух по очереди зачитывают вопросы и фиксируют ответы в тетради. После чего дается время на подсчет очков и оглашение результатов)

Teacher: I'm glad that most of you are quite aware of the things you should do to help our environment. But anyway there is still much left to learn about it. And your classmates have prepared reports about three main ecological problems- Air pollution, extinction of animals and global warming.

(Учащиеся выступают с докладами. После каждого доклада учитель задает вопросы по их содержанию)

Teacher: Of course solving ecological problems is important. But what is easier - to solve a problem or to prevent it? Let's make an experiment that will help you to answer.

(Учитель наливает чистую воду в ёмкость. Добавляет несколько капель машинного масла. Ученики пытаются собрать масло с помощью ваты. После эксперимента ученики отвечают на вопрос учителя)

Teacher: Now let's see what each of us can do to prevent ecological problems. Watch the video and complete the chart using the given words.
