Обобщающий урок по теме: « Путешествие».

Цели

Практическая: заключается в развитии способностей учащихся использовать ИЯ как инструмент общения.

Образовательная: повторить с учащимися различные средства передвижения и познакомить учащихся с культурой поведения на вокзале, в аэропорту и т.д.

Воспитательная: формирование культуры межличностного общения.

Развивающая: развитие речевых способностей учащихся, мышления, памяти, воображения, внимания и языковой догадки.

Задачи на урок:

  1. Организовать прослушивание учащихся аудиотекста «Denis Cook is Travelling» с целью извлечения общей и конкретной информации.

  2. Организовать диалогические высказывания учащихся объемом 5 реплик с каждой стороны на основе диалога-образца (at the airport).

Оснащение: компьютер, карточки.

Good morning, children! I'm very glad to see you today, sit down please. Let's start our working. Today we shall learn about Denis Cook's trip and we'll start our journey to other countries.

  1. Речевая зарядка.

A lot of people all over the world are fond of travelling. Modern life is impossible without travelling. Every day thousands of people travel either on business or for pleasure.

  • Do you like to travel? Why?

  • What kinds of travelling do you know?

  • How do you prefer to travel and why?

  • When did you travel last? Where did you go?

  • Have ever travelled by sea, by plane, by train?

Thanks a lot. Well, certainly it is interesting to travel for pleasure and to see new places, different towns and countries.

But some people have to travel on business and now we'll listen to the text about Denis Cook and his journey. But before we start listening to the text, let's work with the words.

  • Look at the blackboard, please. There are some unknown words. Let's read the words after me and translate them.

So you see Denis Cook is leaving for Boston. I know that 4 pupils in our group are going to travel too. Let's do it all together.

  • But first I'll give you the cards with the dialogue from the text. Let's listen to them, repeat and translate.

And now, Let's work in pairs. I want you to make up your own dialogue using the dialogue on the card as a model. I'll give you different situations, you should read the task very carefully and use all the necessary information. You'll have 5-7 minutes to prepare. It shouldn't be very long ( 5-6 replies).

  • Listen to each other, be ready to answer my questions and then we'll choose what the best dialogue is.

- You would like to buy a ticket for the train from Moscow to St.Petersburg on Sunday. You need a return ticket and you have 200 rubles. Ask the booking-clerk questions about:

-the ticket price;

- the time of the departure

Your partner will play the part of the booking-clerk and will speak first.

Remember:

To be active and polite;

To ask the questions;

To buy a ticket.
