План-конспект урока по английскому языку в 10 классе по учебнику New Millennium English для общеобразовательных учреждений.

Тема урока: As soon as I'm old enough.

Цель урока: Совершенствование лексических навыков чтения аутентичного текста на основе его информационной переработки, развитие коммуникативной компетенции.

Вид урока: Комбинированный.

Задачи урока:

Образовательная:

  • ознакомить учащихся с новым лексическим материалом;

  • отработка навыков говорения, высказывания своего мнения на основе прочитанного аутентичного текста.

Развивающая:

развивать речевые способности, способность логически излагать, развивать умения сравнивать, анализировать, воображать; формировать языковые навыки учащихся; развитие умения работать в группах;

Воспитательная:

  • воспитать культуру межличностного общения в семье;

  • воспитывать умение работать в парах, группах, самостоятельно.



Иллюстративный материал: наглядные пособия, учебник, карточки.

Greeting students, introduction new theme, giving information about aims and tasks. (Good morning children! I am glad to see you! Today we are going to continue our unit "Family issues" lesson

" As soon as I'm old enough" and talk about the importance of family relationship)

Discussing hometask:

At home you should produce ideas about family and its role for people and personal for you. Let's check your ideas.

Possible answers:

  • I think a family has things together…like dreams, hopes, possessions, memories, smiles….It's an integral part of my life.

  • In my opinion it means that you are getting unconditional love and that there's someone out there who knows when you hurt, and fell when you haven't said a single word.

  • What family means to me is love and someone that will always be there for you through the good times and the bad. It is about encouragement, understanding, hope, comfort, advice, values, morals, ideals, and faith. These things are all important to me because it makes me feel secure and happy inside regardless of what is going on in my life.

  • I agree with expression-The only rock I know that stays steady, the only institution I know that works is the family.


Beginning with quotation on the board and commenting of it, producing ideas- "You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them." Desmond Tutu


Possible answers:

  • In my point of view it can be different families, relationship, troubles but you should appreciate your family…..

  • In my opinion family is the most valuable thing in our life and we should take care of it……

Introduction new vocabulary on the board (Оn the board you can see new vocabulary, let's take a pronunciation and copy it )

  • Embarrassing questions- смущающие вопросы

  • To pick up smth-брать трубку

  • Lack of privacy-нехватка личного пространства

  • To act like a baby-вести себя как ребенок

Making questions with new vocabulary

  • Do you have lack of privacy in your family? Yes, I do…..

  • Do your parents treat you like a baby? Yes, they do…They think I am child yet but…..

  • Can you keep secrets? I think you can rely on me….

(Read Sasha's letter and find her problems with relatives)

Possible ideas:

  • She shares her room with little sister

  • She can't keep secrets

  • She has lack of privacy

  • Her older brother makes nasty comments about her

  • Her little brother listens her phone calls with friends

  • Sasha's parents treat her like a baby

Discussing in class (Sasha's problems and make her advice)

Summarizing all activities, giving an appreciation of knowledge, giving marks and writing of hometask.

Writing an essay "My family relationship" 200-250 words
