Урок-соревнование по теме "The united Kingdoms of Great Britain"

Форма мероприятия: Урок-соревнование.

Цель: контроль лексического, грамматического и лингвострановедческого материала.

Дидактическая оснащенность: доска, мел, раздаточный материал (карточки с заданиями), речь учителя, речь учеников.

Методические рекомендации: Мероприятие проводится после прохождения темы. За урок до мероприятия нужно повторить материал по этой теме, а также, задать повторение в качестве домашнего задания. Говорить о том, что будет мероприятие не стоит, лучше пусть дети думаю, что будет контрольная, благодаря чему они более ответственно отнесутся к подготовке.

Команды распределяются случайным образом, но, если в классе мало сильных учеников, то лучше будет распределить их так, чтобы в каждой команде были сильные и слабые ученики.

Листки с заданиями должны быть у команд, у ведущего и у жюри, если жюри есть (у меня его не было). Листки с заданиями лучше оставить у команд, так как они могут их использовать для решения последующих заданий, если у них возникнут затруднения.

Ход мероприятия:

1. Организационный момент (5 мин.)

- Hello boys and girls!

- Hello teacher!

- Sit down please. Today we are going to have a little competition. You will be divided into 3 teams, each team will represent a country. First of all, you will draw a piece of paper with a number of your team on it.

Основной этап (25 мин.)

- Task 1 (6 мин.)

- Now, each team will answer 2 questions about the UK. If you can't answer the next team will be given your question. Each correct answer will grant you a point.

(Команды получают листки с вопросами. Каждая команда отвечает по очереди на вопрос).

- Task 2 (6 мин.)

- Now you are to make up sentences using the words given. Each sentence is connected to your country so by the end of this task you will find out what country you are going to represent. Each sentence will give you one point and the correct name of the country will give you another point.

(Команды зачитывают предложения и получают по баллу за каждое правильное предложение, после чего они называют свою страну).

- Task 3 (6 мин.)

- For this task you will be given a list of sights, you are to choose only those that your country is famous for. Then you are to tell us what your country is famous for. You will 1 point for each correct sight but you will loose 1 point for naming the other team's sight. For this task you are to choose one representative from each team.

(Один ученик из команды выходит и говорит, чем знаменита его страна. Команда получает по одному баллу за каждую достопримечательность, относящуюся к их стране, а за чужие достопримечательности балл снимается).

- Task 4 (6 мин.)

- Now, you will get a list of verbs. You are to se those verbs to make up sentences. Imagine that you are in your country and tell us what you are doing there.

(Команды зачитывают предложения и получают по баллу за каждое правильное предложение).

- Task 5 (6 мин.)

- For this task you will get a list of statements. You are to tell if they are true or false.

(Команды зачитывают предложения и говорят, правда это или нет).

- Task 6 (6 мин.)

- And for the last task you are to make as many words as you can, using the words "The United Kingdoms" your word must go through it and must be connected to you country.

(Команды зачитывают слова и получают по баллу, за каждое слово, относящееся к их стране).

3. Заключительный этап (6 мин.)

- Now we are going to count you points and choose the winner.

- The winner is …

- My congratulations to the winner but you have all done very well today. I'm happy to see that you know so much about the UK.

- The lesson is over. Goodbuy!
